Coming this summer on iOS and Android, guests can play in the parks like never before using this soon-to-launch mobile app to access exclusive experiences at both locations through activities that interact with the surrounding environment. The app will be free to download.

Walt Disney World today unveiled another new feature coming soon for the My Disney Experience app: a digital key.
Coming soon to Disney's Wilderness Lodge, the new feature will allow guests to quickly unlock their hotel room using their mobile devices, providing them with a seamless room entry option that brings added flexibility.
Guests of the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels in Central Florida, beginning with stays on January 1, 2018, and continuing throughout 2018, will enjoy an Extra Magic Hours benefit at Walt Disney World Theme Parks, with valid theme park admission. In addition, beginning Jan. 10, guests at these hotels will be able to link their reservations to My Disney Experience, if certain conditions are met.
Updates to My Disney Experience

Today Disney announced a major update/upgrade to the mobile app My Disney Experience. There is a whole new look and feel.
Just when you think you have selecting FastPasses for Walt Disney World attractions down to a science, the Big Cheese decides to tinker with the process. Beginning this week, guests can begin booking FastPass+ selections at 7 a.m. ET (Orlando time) rather than the previous time of 12:01 a.m. ET. This and other changes to FastPass will affect how you plan your summer visits to WDW.
Making dining reservations at Walt Disney World just got a little easier. The resort has added a new tool to its online site that allows guests to make changes to existing reservations, which eliminates a lot of confusion and extra steps.
