This was easily one of the best meals of our trip. While it's not exactly easy to get to, it's worth the hassle to get there. DH had the grilled chicken sandwich which he really enjoyed, and I ordered the fish n chips. I didn't have chips though: I opted for the orzo pasta salad instead which was fantastic on a hot day! We are from the Northeast, so are used to really good seafood, so when I say the fried fish was good, that's saying something! We would definitely eat here again.

DH and I spent time here on the first night of our anniversary trip. We opted to just sit at the bar and enjoy an appetizer rather than sit in the dining room, which ended up being a great choice! The bartenders were so friendly and accommodating, they really helped make the night fun. We had ordered a glass of wine each, plus a cheese board and shrimp. Everything was excellent! They brought us out complimentary champagne, and took what may be one of the best pictures of us from the entire trip! We will definitely be returning here, even if staying at a different resort.
Pros:
Great atmosphere, excellent bartenders!Cons:

The draft beer and selection is very good. Nothing like a Guinness from the tap. The atmosphere (at night) features entertainment and makes it festive. The dalkey duos was tasty and you get about 10 of them. I had the lambo which was a hit. The meat fell of the bone and overall I liked it. My wife had the cluck curry which was just okay. Our server seemed nice enough, but he rarely checked in on us and forgot my drink. I don't think he appreciated that I went up to him and asked for the drinks (including soda/water refills), but if I didn't I wouldn't have anything to drink during the main entree. Despite the perfunctory service, I would go back particularly for the beer.

Editor's note: this review is regarding the Flying Fish Chef's Tasting Wine Dinner.
If you are considering such an extravagant treat I say do it. The service, food, and wine were outstanding. You will get 5 dishes each paired with a wine. One person will describe the wine and a kitchen staff member will describe the dish. Throughout the event you will be able to converse with your table mates (up to 6 people on the table) as well as with Chef Ryan who cooks directly in front of you. Expect to spend a couple of hours at the establishment, but the time flies by. It's serious money, but it is well worth it!

The craft beer and selection is good. In fairness, I only ordered an appetizer - asiago artichoke and crab dip. It was okay at best. But the kicker was that there a mom and daughter next to my table and she said their food was not good...shortly after they left. The menu looks like typical pub food so I didn't have high expectations, but the dip at $13 left me wondering if something was missing.

The sushi and sashimi are outstanding! In particular, the pork belly nigri was the best I have eaten. The Yuzu marinated sashimi was flavorful and the texture was superb.
The other entrees that my wife and I had was the oak-fired filet of beef (she loved the super tender filet, but the risotto was too strong) and the pork two ways - loved it. The downside was the service. Started off great, but trickled down as the evening progressed. Specifically our server did not always check in on us as our drinks needed refills on several occasions. I'll leave with a positive note, it was great to walk on the observation deck and watch Wishes. It gives the observer a different perspective of the fireworks show. Overall, we might just visit the bar and order the sushi. The bar offers the full menu, but it is first come first serve.

Had reservations for breakfast during the Magic Kingdom’s Coolest Summer Ever 24 hour party. I thought it was a silly idea to preorder breakfast in advance, but after waiting in line 30 minutes to order food, I realized that preording is the way to go. Those that preordered were shown to a different line and zipped right through. All three dining areas were crowded and it took a little time to find an empty table. Finally we just waited for a cast member to clear off a table and grabbed it before someone else could. All the cast members we spoke with were very friendly and excited about the 24 hr. party. The pastry plate arrived first and for the most part we enjoyed the selection. Both of us ordered the open-faced bacon and egg sandwich and it was one of the best meals we had during our trip. The bacon used is better than the bacon served at other quick service restaurants and the eggs were also good. The sandwich came with a fruit cup and a beverage. Be Our Guest is by far the best quick service places in the Magic Kingdom, I just wish Disney would reconsider the self service kiosks, it would run much easier if there was a cast member handling the ordering of food.

We arrived at 9 am and our room was ready! The grounds are lovely and well kept, only a short walk to the bus stop and food court. The cast members at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. It can get very crowded in the food area during busy periods and the cast members working there don’t appear to be in any hurry. The rooms are a little on small size, but worked out well for two adults. The toilet/shower area is a tight fit but the curtain between the beds and sink area came in handy. The furniture in the room was well worn, but mousekeeping did a good job keeping the room clean. We did not have any issues with the buses or the boat to Downtown Disney.

We managed to walk right in for lunch without a reservation, the restaurant is tastefully decorated with lots light coming in from the large windows. Our server was attentive and answered all our questions and our food arrived in a timely manner. I order the quiche and it was very good, it came with a side salad, which had way, too much vinaigrette and made the salad somewhat soggy and oily.

Second time for 2 senior couples, could not ask for better accommodations. Great attention to detail. Upon arrival check in volunteered to find a room near our other couple, great work. Of our five trips these last 2 at POFQ have been our favorites. Definitely on our agenda for next time.
