This is our favorite place to eat at Disney. Interacting with the main Disney characters while you eat is the best. The only downside is 'rushing' to get your food from the buffet so you don't miss a character. Otherwise, the food is yummy and plentiful and varied. The pancakes were wonderful. The characters are FUN and always great to meet without having to wait in lines.
The atmosphere at the Contemporary is great with the monorail going through all the time.

This was our first time for breakfast at O'Hana. We enjoyed the food. It is nice that the food is served to you (rather than a buffet) - much easier to be available for the characters to come around. Service was good. You can have as much food as you like. Only negative was we had to wait quite a while for our table which forced our whole meal to be rushed as we had a plane to catch! This was our longest wait with an ADR for a table all week. Also, I felt like the characters were not as interactive with the guests as they are at other locations.

Less stressful than eating at the parks. We enjoyed our meal. Yummy bread! The restaurant was louder than I expected for being at the hotel.

We had sundaes for dinner and they were amazing. They are large so we were glad we skipped dinner. Line was long but moved quickly and worth the wait. Not nearly enough tables. We ate sitting outside on a ledge and it was very messy. Difficult to eat big sundaes without a table.

My daughter and I ate breakfast here on our last morning 3-3-17. I got the Tonga toast, which I had never had before. It was one of the Best things I had all week! YUM! My daughter had the kids mickey waffles and the were also very good. We also bought some mickey shaped rice crispy treats to take home as gifts. The cast members were very kind and helpful.

My daughter and I ate brunch here on 3-1-17. We both thought the food and selection was very good. I especially liked that breakfast and lunch options were available. The Mickey waffles were awesome of course, but so was the fresh fruit, salmon, and my daughter Loved the mickey shaped mac n cheese. I loved the small bite sized desserts. The Character interaction was great! We got some of our best pictures of the whole trip!

We checked in to a dirty, dusty, well-worn standard room. My husband called and asked to change rooms after discovering a black, greasy substance all over the TV remote. This was certainly not the oldest, grossest thing about this room. Thread-bare, FILTHY carpet, dust everywhere, ahem...HAIRS in the bathroom, etc. We called for the new room and met resistance from the front desk. We were promised a different room in the morning. Feeling unsatisfied, we called back and demanded to be moved immediately instead. This time, a manager assisted us and gave us a CLEAN room closer to the lobby. The comped us that night and we ended up getting a preferred room for the standard price. This was great but shouldn't have happened. The whole resort could use a good old-fashioned power washing. Lots has been neglected and ignored. I don't think we'd stay there again. It wasn't up to Disney standards and it was crawling with teens and college students.

This was our third time eating Breakfast at the castle and our worst experience. I booked this because it was my daughter's #1 requested experience. Last time 2013 the food was amazing...Lobster crepes! These are no longer available and the remaining options only average at best. The characters were rushed and not at all impressive this time. For the money spent, the food and characters should be amazing! I don't think we will be returning.

Checked in and hostess gave my son his birthday pin and a cheetah print visor. She then escorted us up the elevator while singing the Mickey Mouse song. MANY other guests joined in the singing while we marched to the elevator. She told us not to try and push the #6 elevator button but rather just hold our band to it and it would take us there. Another cast member greeted us on the 6th with a welcome gift bag full of trail mix, scroll of welcome and hotel info. He then offered us alcohol while we waited for a room but we declined and just partook of the offered snacks which included jelly beans, cookies, fresh fruit and create your own trial mix: goldfish, yogurt covered pretzels, cashews, cranberries, golden raisins, and African spiced nuts. A room was ready but we wanted a bunk bed room which took about thirty minutes to clean for us. My son enjoyed watching Sister Act and snacking while I perused the small book lending library in the lounge. We came back at dinner time to the lounge and on the menu they had broccolini, mashed potatoes, butter curry turkey, as well as African stew. I remember reading that the club did not serve enough food to count as a meal and I would disagree. I think they served enough at breakfast and dinner to fill me up. However the lunchtime offerings definitely would not hold me over. For breakfast we had African quinoa which was quinoa with diced fruit and you could add additional fruit or brown sugar. They also had oatmeal, boiled eggs, fresh fruit such as pineapple, berries, grapes, grape fruit, bananas, etc, croissants, bagels, yogurt, jams, butter, cream cheese, scones, muffins, milk, juices, teas, and the cappuccino machine. We definitely got our money's worth with the food. They also kept the lounge very clean with a constant supply of staff members clearing the tables, refreshing the food supplies, and taking special requests from diners. I tried to tip one but he said they were not allowed to accept tips. Staying concierge level is also the only way to get the great views from the 6th floor. I have never stayed fancy level at any other hotel so have nothing to compare it to. Also should note that we paid less for it as we had the Florida resident discount rate and the concierge level was only about $20-$30 more per night than a non concierge level room. But we loved it, would recommend, and would do again.

We stayed at SSR for from March 9-14, following a 4 night DCL cruise. The resort is big, beautiful, and the pool areas were very nice. All staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. We requested the Congress Park area to be close to Disney Springs. Our building was as far from the DS walkway as we could be in that area, so it was not a big advantage. Next time, I would try to get the Grandstand area as it seemed closer to everything and was the first bus stop. It was a very nice resort & we would gladly stay at SSR again!
