We were on the Disney Fantasy May 21-28 and stayed in Stateroom #8660. It was right around the corner from the Aft elevators which made it very convenient to get to Cabanas on Deck 11 and Animator's Palate for dinner.
This was our 6th Disney cruise (3 on the Fantasy and 3 on the Magic) and we were very pleased with the stateroom. The only negative was that we prefer the Mid Section of the ship and this was a long way to get to the shows. But...we are trying to do more walking so that was not really too bad.
The family next to us had 2 small children and a couple times it was a little noisy, but not enough to not stay in this cabin again.
We came back one afternoon to find a seagull trapped on our veranda. After some blocking off of his "escape routes" they were able to catch and release him. People, please DO NOT feed the seagulls - this was what was attracting them.
All in all we were very happy with this stateroom.

We love Cabanas. they have an excellent selection for everyone. The food is always hot and fresh.
We especially like breakfast and sitting out on the deck if it's not too windy.
Next cruise we might try their table service for dinner since sometimes you don't want a "fancy" meal.

The new menu at Palo's is terrible. They no longer have Filet Mignon which was one of their signature meals and my husband's favorite.
A whole chicken with potatoes and veggies? this is not the type of thing you expect at Palo's!
Bring back the classics! Even the chefs are not happy.

Quiet and romanticCons:

We had dinner here two years ago, and I was underwhelmed with the steak I had, but we decided to give it another shot this year for dinner. Boy, what a difference! Although our server last time was adequate, this year was superb. Kurt fit the atmosphere perfectly and really made the experience great for us. He was polite, attentive, friendly and always had a smile. This time I had the braised pork, which was so delicious, and I loved the pureed cauliflower that was with it. It was an excellent meal. We asked if the Beast would be appearing, as last time he would come in, wave, then leave to pose for pics, he didn't do that this time. He told us he wasn't, but then came back and told us he would be in later, and gave us a card to come back and have our photo with him anytime we wanted, that was really nice. The West Wing, or 'man cave' as we call it, is so cool, and can be quieter, even with the thunder sound effects every so often. The main dining room, or Ballroom, is noisy, try to avoid sitting there for dinner if you want a quieter experience. The grey stuff was still delicious!
Pros:
West Wing atmosphere is excellent, great serviceCons:

We stayed for the first time at a princess royal room. It was very nice and my daughter loved. it We arrived early and went to park. was texted when our room was ready. we were in the Oak Manor right outside the quiet pool. When we arrived we wanted to take showers, no tub in room there was no soap ,shampoo or conditioner in the room had to call main desk but was brought very quickly, went in the morning to get coffee and some snack foods, so really didn't eat at food court much now for the cons. Liked the tv with the bus arrival times but times kept on changing we went to bus stop at front of hotel and were bitten by bugs, don't think they were mosquitos more like horse flies, Had family in florida so used the car more. would have to leave so much earlier for reservations, all in all we would stay again, quieter and more relaxing

Had advanced reservations for 8:10 breakfast. We preordered which saved time. However the line took approx 20 minutes. We ordered the meat plate and then got two baskets of bakery items. It was good, the rooms were awesome. We ended up eating in the music box room because it was quieter and had a no line for the drink station.
For $24 it was a little underwhelming as far as the food goes but still worth it for a one time splurge.
Definitely do the pre order.

I had not eaten here in many years, probably just after the park opened, and my partner never had, so we decided to try to get in for lunch although we didn't have a reservation. We waited only about 10 minutes and we were seated in the back row of a three row car, as we were the 'hitchhikers' lol. A family was in the same car but it was separate enough that we didn't feel like we were intruding too much. We loved it!! It has not changed at all. I especially liked how quiet it was, as people were watching the screen while eating. The features are kitchy, quirky and quite entertaining! We both had the reuben, which was excellent. Our waiter was courteous and attentive, always with a smile. This may have to become our new tradition every year.

Ate here on a Tuesday in May for lunch. It was good. The best thing was the portions, it cost a bit more then the average place at disney but the portions are very big. I actually ordered the combo chicken and rib plate and split it with my son. The food tasted good and the fixings bar was very nice touch too. You can add mushrooms, pickles etc.
Lines were long but moved quickly. We went at approx 1:15 and there was no seating available so we came back at 2:30 and there was plenty of seating.
A good variety for the picky eaters in the group.
Overall a good experience. As with most things in disney I wish it was cheaper.

Just ate dessert but it was wonderful truly great. We had the apple strudel and it was amazing. We also had the pretzel which was good and very big.
I am pretty tight fisted but it even was worth the price.
Words cannot explain how good the apple strudel was. Awesome.

Very long lines. The food was good. The best part was the free refills.
There was plenty of seating. The ac worked great.
Standard food, nothing special.
All in all it just sort of a boring restaurant. If you want disney eat someplace else if you want simple fast food then this is the place.
