Great find! We usually don't go to Hollywood Studios, however, since our son is into the Toy Story characters we decided to go. This place was right around the corner and we all enjoyed this place. Great selection and something besides the normal burgers and such. **BIG PLUS!!** The "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" playground is right next door!
Pros:
good food, surprising menu, shaded and cool in morningCons:

I stayed at the Pop recently (4/12 to 4/14). I had a wonderful time here! I don't know if we just lucked out on the perfect weekend to go, or if the opening of Art of Animation has lessened crowds, but I did not find the resort crowded at all like mentioned in a lot of previous reviews. I never had to wait too long for anything - no lines for check in, food court, shopping, etc.
We did eat at the food court twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner. It's standard food court fare - nothing to write home about, but it gets the job done when you need a quick meal.
The bus system is very efficent, we never had to wait too long going to or trying to come back from resorts, and we were always able to get a seat.
It was a lot of fun just hanging around the resort. They have the three pools (I would recommend avoiding the Hippy Dippy Pool if you're wanting something quieter - it was always crawling with kids) and tons of space. The bar off of the main pool, Petals, is awesome and has tons of fun drinks. I also liked just walking around and seeing all of the themeing for the different buildings, and reading all of the yearly facts they have placed around. I also loved the wall of memorabilia in the lobby - it was tons of fun to walk down it and point out the things we remembered/recognized.
The rooms themselves are fine. They're sort of small, but clean and neat. The walls are pretty thin- in certain areas of our room I was able to hear people in other rooms talking very clearly.
While missing some of the amenities of the higher classes of resorts (room size, coffee makers, room service) this place is so much fun, we'll definitely be back!

Love this place and am going back this year! The Little Mermaid rooms are small, but livable especially with a fridge in the room. You're their to sleep and shower and that's about it so I say it's great! The atmosphere is each area is so cool and I loved that they tried to have activities for families, even during rainy days! Check in was easy, and the only down side was trying to eat breakfast. VERY CROWDED! It seemed like the area where you order was created too small. However, I witnessed how a manager handled an irrate customer who was clearly in the wrong and I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff. They worked very hard to satisfy this person. You need to try this place, it is great!

A wonderful place to stay. The bed that came out of the wall over the table was so easy to pull down. And the sofa bed was easy and comfortable. Had plenty of room to put all the suitcases and room to move around. the deco was great. Even the hallways was so neat. Could not ask for a cleaner or nicer room. With two bathrooms. No problem with everyone getting ready. No noise and we were on the side facing the pool.
Pros:
plenty of room for 3 adults, 2 childrenCons:

Art of Animation is a wonderful resort. My room was in the Little Mermaid section and even though it is a hike to the bus stop or food court, the surrounding icons make the walk seem very short. I like the fact that there is a refrigerator in the room where at the other value resorts, there isn't one. The bed was SO comfortable and the pillows were perfect for me. I couldn't hear anyone else on my wing and the resort was at full capacity. The Cast Members are fantastic, always willing to help and give directions. The only other value resort I've stayed at is Pop Century so I can't compare it with the other values, but Art of Animation is truly a work of magic! 🙂 I definitely will stay here again!

I was excited about visiting this restaurant for the first time during my last visit to WDW. I was going solo, so I had a chance to just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The positive side of this place was that the view Illuminations was great. All glass windows make it beautiful. The service was outstanding. My waitress was checking on me several times during the meal, but not too much to make it annoying. The food...well, that is another subject matter. The only thing I found good to eat were the chips. Even the salsa was not that great.
I first ordered a Avacado Margarita. It tasted like a frozen banana slushie. Not what I was expecting. The chips came out and there were good and crunchy, but there was no salt or pepper on the table to add to the chips. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and rice. The only thing good on the plate was the shrimp.
I was really looking forward to eating here because living in Texas, Mexican food is something I really enjoy. However, this is one restaurant I will not visit again. 🙁

We both got the chili & split a side of broccoli. The chili has always been good & the broccoli was tasty, as well. We sat upstairs, but it was still a very busy & noisy place. It is usually kind of peaceful up there, but not this trip.

We arrived a few minutes before our reserved time, and were seated within minutes. The food was excellent! We chose to pay rather than use 2 Disney food credits. The filet was melt in your mouth! Love the accompanying risotto. DD got the sirloin, and loved it, but said it was too much food for her. DH had the swordfish and said it was very good, though he liked the swordfish at the Flying Fish better. The chocolate moose was cute and very good, as was the creme brule. We will be back!

We go each time we are in Disney. We sat with a another family, which was fun sharing Disney experiences. The food was the right temperature, and plentiful. My DH loved the beer flight. DD and I got the wine flight, which was very nice. We were there for about an hour, and the show had not even started, that is the only reason I would give this restaurant a 7.

The food is basic buffet, eggs, sausage, bacon and potato casserole. Large selection of pastries, rolls, fruit, condiments, etc. Don't forget the autograph book! Plenty of princesses and they go around the room to visit every table, even those that have all adults!
