We just completed our fifth trip to the campground in the last year, and we have reservations for June. We love the campground! The cast members are super friendly, and the activities are endless. We have stayed in about every resort at WDW, but the campground is by far our favorite. We love to ride our bikes around the resort and take advantage of the daily activities offered. We can be as busy as we want to be and as lazy as we want to be.

We have stayed at POFR six times now. It is definitely our favorite Disney resort. We have stayed at many of the other resorts including the deluxe, but this is still our favorite. The best part of this resort is the size. It has a nice pool, outdoor bar, and gift shop. Everything at the resort is within a short walk. The bus service at this resort is superb. The food court is good. It is fun to catch the boat ride to Downtown Disney. Also, the walk along the river to Riverside is beautiful. Overall, POFR is our favorite Disney resort and we will go back soon!
Pros:
The size of the resort, the location, the cost, and bus service.Cons:

We did Chef Mickeys for breakfast on our last trip and we were not thrilled with the food. The food was the same food served at any resort food court on Disney property. One would think that for $120 for three breakfast buffets there would be a better selection. If you are wanting to meet characters Crystal Palace is a much better value.

The food is great and the services is very fast. Some of the entrees are on the smaller side and you may need a snack soon after eating here. Germany and the Karamell-Kuche are around the corner.

The past 3 times we have dined here our server seemed to focus on a couple of larger groups (5-7 people) while we (3 people)waited for for food and drinks the entire meal. Two groups of 6 were seated after us and finished their meals and left and we still waiting for dessert. However, the food and atmosphere outweigh the poor service.

Okay, so I'll be completely honest, I can be a little bit shy in real life. I don't hang out with many teens, and am often a little awkward. On the first night of the cruise all the teens were invited to a meeting to decide what we wanted to do for our four days as well as some getting to know you activities, which I usually hate. The counselors at the Vibe (on the Dream) made it feel natural and fun, and I absolutely adored it.
Now, onto the activities - The Vibe was the perfect place to hang out. There were fun activities every night, and every day I was back in the room after two. I absolutely adored Mix 'n' Match (A tame dating show), Zombified! (We made a Zombie Movie!) and Ghost Voyagers (I can't explain that one.) The main counselor on the Dream was Ben, and he really brought the whole thing to another level of awesome.
If you feel like you want to tip the Vibe counselors, buy them some candy and bring it on your last night.
This was my favorite part of my vacation!
Pros:
Great Counselors, Awesome activities!Cons:

This was our first experience eating Japanese food. With that being said, it was better than we expected. Our waitress made beginner chopsticks for those that did not know how to use them, and forks were offered. DH got swordfish, DD had the chicken, and I got the filet mignon. We did eat with one other family. The chef made a volcano with onions, which was very entertaining. He did do other tricks, and everything was cooked as requested. I was the last to receive the udon noodles, and got mostly veggies. The noise however, seemed to get louder as the meal went on. We had a 7:30 reservation, perhaps it was the time. There was some sort of problem with our Disney dining plan, so as we waited, we missed the begining of Illuminations. If we go back again, the reservation will be made later, whereas when we were leaving the noise level had dissipated.

I just attended the luau last month. I've been quite a few times over the years -and enjoy it. The show is very good - the best part is the second half when they actually do the dances of the different islands -and the fire dancer! I still miss the characters - which was wonderful when my girls were young! The food is okay - but was told that it is changing and the ribs are back! As of last week. They also changed dessert to a bread pudding - like at 'Ohana's - which is excellent! Looks like the managers are finally listening to the guests and the cast members who have been complaining about the food. Hope they keep up the changes -which will bring back the guests that were disappointed last time they attended.

Had an 8am breakfast here on Friday, April 5th. Very short line, moved quickly. Ordered two waffles with powdered sugar, one with cinnamon, and one waffle sandwich with egg, tomato and prosciutto. Everything was fantastic. Saw someone with the Nutella and fruit waffle, which looked amazing. Must try that next time. Also hoping to try the other savory waffle sandwiches on their menu but they're a bit hard to grab as they're only offered for a short window of time each day.
There is a very lovely spot on the side of the restaurant with tables, shade, and a spectacular view of the castle. Just couldn't ask for a nicer breakfast.

Dinner here was amazing and delicious. Our waitress was very nice and accomodated our young ones needs. I had the Cornish Hen which was great. Dessert was great also! We sat in the Ballroom and had a view of the Beast taking pics in the library. Our 3 yr old was afraid of him though.
I recommend this restaurant for everyone if you can get a reservation in advance!
