A NEW Store Is Now Open in Disney Springs!

It’s a great day to be a collector of Disney items!

Over in Disney Springs, there’s a brand new store that just opened up today, and while it’s a danger to all our wallets, it’s a big deal to have a store entirely dedicated to collectible items from a range of different Disney IP! That’s right — the Disney Drop Shop is now open!

The Disney Drop Shop is located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, which is home to over 20 venues for shopping and dining like Rainforest Café, World of Disney, Once Upon a Toy, Disney’s Days of Christmas, and now, The Disney Drop Shop! You’ll find the new store INSIDE Marketplace Co-Op.

This new store allows guests to shop for blind boxes, exclusive merchandise, and fan-favorite collectible brands like Cosbi, Beast Kingdom, and Popmart. You’ll find collections themed to all different Disney IP, like:

Toy Story

Winnie the Pooh

Star Wars

Stitch

Many More!

Now, it’s important to note that there’s a limit of two single boxes per style, per guest, and there’s a limit of one full case per style, per guest. This ensures that one person isn’t going to come in and purchase dozens of one collection to get them all, leaving no more for others.

When this store was announced, Disney let us know that a virtual waitlist would be in place for entry to the location, but while we saw the remnants of a virtual queue setup, there was none required when we went inside. It’s possible that this is only being used in the mornings or during busier times, similar to how Gideon’s Bakehouse uses its virtual queue.

At this time, no discounts are allowed inside either. This means that Annual Passholders, DVC members, and other special groups will NOT be able to use their discounts when shopping, so everyone will be paying full price.
