I enjoyed this dinner show more than any other dinner show I have seen. The costuming, singing and dancing were outstanding. I did laugh out loud at the jokes! The food was very good, and plentiful. The bottomless Sangria made the show even more enjoyable. We were able to make reservations for the later show the day of the performance.
Pros:
Fun, interactive entertainment while enjoying delicious foodCons:

We stayed in the Finding Nemo section for the last 2 nights of our 12 day vacation. It is absolutely rich in Disney themeing....just beautiful. The size of the suites with two bathrooms was wonderful! The resort is new, but I did notice the furniture is already starting to show wear and tear. The light paint colors will make it hard to cover up for long. I must admit we were not crazy about the choices at the food court. We stayed at POFQ the first 10 nights and the selection and taste was so much better. The bus was quick and frequent. I would not stay if I had to stay in the Little Mermaid section...it is sooooo far away. If a family can afford, this is an fun choice!

We visited in early November with 80 degree weather. The water was plenty warm. We arrived at opening, and were able to ride every slide with zero wait. The Pina Coladas are excellent. We spent an hour just enjoying the looong lazy river.

All members of my family got spaghetti with meatballs. It was good enough. We had the gellato, chocolate cheesecake, and the chocolate cake for desert. They were all good enough. I know by reading the description of this restaurant that part of the "fun" is supposed to be nagging mothers as your servers. Didn't see any of those. Did have a waiter who was good at his job but I really don't like having waiters who act as though they are doing me a favor to be there. Not sure whether it was arrogance or boredom or the theme or the restaurant, but a friendly waiter goes a long way. Having said that...on a 6 day trip, will this be one of the places we eat...yes. It is crowd pleasing, decent food with good unfriendly service! LOL!

The food was not bad. It just wasn't what it was last time we went. The menu changed. I was so looking forward to a steak with a fried plantain on top, which I had never tried before I had it at Coronado. Not there anymore. And...I expect home made tortillas at a table service restaurant. Not here. The side of corn was to die for. The steaks were good. The chicken in the soft tacos was good. But pretty much, not much to boast about. I want the old menu back. Desserts were fine. Waiter was good. Do I recommend this place if you need an afternoon at the resort and don't want to run back to the parks, yes. Will I run from the parks to eat here...no.

This was our first time to any Rainforest Cafe. We had the Primal Steak, fried shrimp and chicken fried chicken. The quality of the main protein was quite decent! Better than I expected from some reviews. Maybe we were just hungry! Fries were typical boring fries. We all went in on the Volcano Dessert. It was good....brownies, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream in an impressive presentation. Ok, I know that Rainforest Cafe is not a Disney product, but I did expect a little bit better quality in the decor. Still a neat idea. Still on our favorites list. Waiter was great.

This is a great place to go when you are so tired that you cannot make it to the next food joint. Otherwise, be ready for sub-par hamburgers and fries. This was my least favorite of the 5 fast food places we ate. Run away.

After reading mixed reviews, my family and I were skeptical to try this. There were 6 in our party on Thursday March 7. We are at the table closest to the entrance and photo pass photographer. We were right on the rail, so no need to stand. The only, very small negative to this spot was that we were not more centered with the castle, but it was nice not to have to worry about getting to the rail to watch.
The desserts were great. There were plenty to choose from and they were restocked regularly. We would definitely do this again and again. It was nice not having to worry about somebody coming in last minute and wedge themselves in or stand in front of our kids for the fireworks.

Pizza was better than I thought it would be at this place. Ended up here because we missed by 5 minutes the 2 p.m. closing of the cafeteria across the hall (which I highly recommend). Dessert was fine. Seating was non-existant. There is a huge seating area for the cafeteria...BUT, that is for the cafeteria and they have it gated in because that area is "waitressed". Soooooo, there are about 8 tables to choose from and if you don't get one of those, you end up in hoping they don't kick you out of the bar when you sit there!

Once again, I say...finding quality food on your counter service meals is key. THis is a place you can actually find "not so fast" food. We all had the rotisserie half chicken with mashed potatoes or rice. They were all yummy! Mashed potatoes made with sour cream and chives. We had the brownie for dessert. It was fine. Nice to sit inside in a wide open space. Recommend for families wanting wide variety of decent foods.
