This review is for the Princess Half Marathon weekend....
First event was the Runners Expo, usually the Expos are held in two large facilities at the WWoS. This event was held at the Coronado Springs convention hall which was waaaaay to small!! The lines to pick up your race info, shirts, and merchandise were very chaotic, not near as smooth as the Wine in Dine expo last November. As comparison the PHM expo took us nearly 4 hours from the time we got there until we left, the W&D last year only took us an hour!
Saturday Morning I did the Royal Family 5K. Thanks to proof of time, early registration, and prior runDisney runner I got in Corral A. I found myself at the very front of the corral almost right under the starting line. I had a good run, course was empty, Epcot was great to run through, this was a great race.
Sunday Morning my wife ran the Princess Half, it was way oversold for the course size. Imagine 26,000 people on only a one lane wide course... My wife usually runs a 14:00/min a mile pace. Thanks to the mobs of walker, she manged only a 16:10 per pace, glad she was in an early corral or she may have been swept! She imagined running through the castle, but sadly it was not a run through the castle, but a large mob barley walking!
We will never participate in a PHM weekend again unless they limit the number of runners or make the course wider! There are too many walkers as well and rookies/walkers with no race etiquette!
Pros:
Finisher Medals, Race TransportationCons:

A surprisingly amazing Disney Dining experience!
We went last night without reservations and were seated immediately.
The staff was kind and courteous, even explaining things on the menu before ordering. They brought out crackers and crab meat dip, followed by bread and butter before the meal.
My sister ordered the Lobster Ravioli, and she absolutely loved it, saying it was the best pasta she ever ate on site. Not being a seafood fan, I opted for the chicken pasta (w/o olives) which was incredibly delicious, very filling. We also had flavored lemonade (strawberry and raspberry, respectively) which were equally delicious.
The price was surprisingly low for seafood at Disney.
The only real downside was it was awkward trying to exit. The restaurant is on a boat and we were seated on the second level, and we had a difficult time maneuvering around the tables and down the stairs.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and are definitely looking forward to returning!

We stayed the last week of the food and wine festival and we stayed in treehouse 7018,great spot near the boat dock, pool, pathway to SSR. Was a little worried reading earlier post about how far away from everything the treehouses are but we did not find that to be a problem. We've been staying at SSR for the past 6 years as members and always stay at Congress Park which we love being close to Downtown. But we found the walk no farther to the Springs staying at the Treehouses than staying at Congress and walking to the Carousel bus stop. Was much easier than waiting for a bus to take you to the Springs and changing there. I would say the walk to both the Springs and Carousel was less than 5 minutes.
Having a barbecue at the treehouse was wonderful also. There were 6 of us and more than enough room for all. The only complaint I would have is listening to that boat horn all day and evening when you are there on the deck. Wonder if that is really necessary all the time. Besides that, would recommend and stay again.

We made to stop in for lunch during our recent February trip to WDW. We decided to try the chicken and waffles after reading some of the recent reviews. The waffles are made fresh but were very think, almost like a belgian waffle. We did not like the spicy chicken as much as the ham and swiss but either way the waffles are just too thick to enjoy the sandwich toppings. On a side note, my daughter had the waffle with nutella and it was very good. I recommend a visit here but for dessert not lunch.

We had ADR here for dinner 2/21 and waited almost an hour past our reservation time (we arrived 15 minutes early). That started the bad experience, once inside we were told the character rotation and found that we were their last stop, which meant we had to stay longer than our dinner to allow the kids to see all four characters. As for the food it is very basic buffet food and frankly not that great. My favorite item was the mashed potatoes; everything else was pretty much a let down. The wait staff did rush us and at times were unfriendly, although the cast members with the characters were great! We may go back for breakfast in the future but will avoid lunch/dinner on all future visits.

We ate here during our February trip because it had such high reviews, however, we were very disappointed. I saw some reviews raving that the clam chowder was good, so I had to try myself. When we arrived we asked one of the wait staff what their favorite menu were and she didn't mention the chowder but did say the fried shrimp. We ordered chowder and fried shrimp but avoided the lobster roll based on her recommendation. The chowder was AWFUL! It was a grade below campbell's and just horrible, we threw out both bowls after 2 bites. The fried shrimp was edible and the only reason I didn't rate it a 1. I will avoid all dining inside MK in the future.

The food here was excellent! We all had steak and each of us were very pleased with the temperature and taste. The cheese soup (don't forget to dip the pretzel bread in) and side dish lobster mac & cheese were my absolute favorites. The steaks were amazing but they should be for $40 each. On a down note, my daughter ordered a ceasar salad and it came with spinach and was nothing like the traditional ceaser she loves. She ended up ordering her own bowl of cheese soup as her meal. My 2 year old wasn't in the best mood during our visit, otherwise it may have been more enjoyable and we would have stayed for dessert. The tables are so close that any behavior or moodiness from children will disturb others around you and wait staff. I had to leave with my toddler twice during the meal, but once the food arrived it made for a much better experience. I will go back, but probably for lunch (soup and lobster mac & cheese).

Stayed 3 nights for PHM weekend. Looks as if SOG is staying tidier than last visits, actually see people cleaning/picking up common areas. The AAFES store has also moved to a smaller location, very cramped and not much amenities as before!
The only negative aspects was we tried to go to bed early for a 5 A.M. wake up, the rooms are so quiet and the halls like echo chambers that when rude guests come into the hotel late at night, they woke us up! Also, the front desk staff seemed rude at check in, no friendly smile, and brief, felt like I was a bother to them.

Service was horrible, server forgot my change, had to remind him several times, food was 'institutional' quality.
