Went here this past July, since we haven't been in a couple of years, and it was part of our ticket package. We had a lot of fun, but it's beginning to show it's age. Time for a refurb I think. Anyway, I like that once you start playing a game you can keep playing until you don't feel like it anymore. Unfortunately, so does everyone else. I really wanted to play a certain pinball game and the same woman played it continously giving no one else a chance. Oh well, next time.
Pros:
Pay one price and play all the games you wantCons:

We went here for our last night at WDW. Great location to view the fireworks. Desserts were good with a fair selection. My only complaint is there wasn't a photographer there like in years past.

The wave pool is nice and so is the lazy river. Plenty of slides. And Ski Patrol Training Camp is a lot of fun for pre-teens. Lounge chairs can be harder to find if you aren't there first thing in the morning.

The wave pool is awesome but can be dangerous if your not careful. They are powerful enough to wipe you off your feet. The waterslides are great too, just wish there were more of them and that they were a bit longer. Lounge chairs can be hard to find if your not there first thing in the morning.

We always use the WDW transportation system. Love the convenience. But sometimes when leaving a park waits can be long waiting for the bus, and then you can end up standing.

We always use Magical Express. It's wonderful not having to stop to pick up our luggage, knowing that it will be delivered to your room.
And it works great with airline check-in from your resort when returning to the airport.

My husband and I stayed here for a quick trip, we thought we would stay somewhere less expensive than our usual and much loved Yacht Club. We went in with very low expectations, and even those were not met. The entire stay was chaos and disappointment. From groups of cheerleaders allowed to run around at all hours "practicing" at the top of their lungs while the chaperones crowded around the small bar and ignored them, to the paper thin walls allowing us to know each time one of our neighbors flushed, to the rude cast members.
The unpleasant girl in the gift shop didn't want to retrieve the package I had sent back to the hotel, so she tried to tell me it wasn't there. When I pointed out that it was marked in the book as having arrived, she was forced to go get it, and made plain her anger at me for her having to do her job. When she told me I "have to sign for it" I asked - very nicely- if I could have a pen, and she literally threw it at me. It bounced off my chest onto the counter. My husband began slowly backing away at this point. I kept my cool but her attitude was pretty prevalent among the staff here. Don't even get me started on the bus stop queue, all with no cover so you stand in the sun baking! Never again.

I took my husband to Steakhouse 55 for dinner for his birthday. The service was wonderful and the food was excellent. My husband had the crab cake with bearnaise sauce and the center cut filet mignon, I had the sauteed sea scallops and the Steak House Dry Rib Bone-In Ribeye. Both appetizers and meals meals were cooked to perfection. We added asparagus and scalloped potatoes as side dishes. They were delicious as well. They brought my husband a chocolate mousse Mickey Mouse cake for dessert for his birthday. I wanted to try the warm peach butter cake for dessert but I was too full. We had a sidecar and a martini with sky vodka & peach schnapps for our cocktails. The room was a throw back to classic Hollywood...loved the decor. I would definitely eat here again. I think the price is too much. After all I just paid to get in the Magic Kingdom for the day only to come out and turn around to go back in for additional money. The parade and fireworks were awesome but just the same as any other Wishes or Electrical Parade performance. Why not just let you back in without charge.People will still send a lot of money on merchandise and food so give us a break!!
