The lobster tail was very tender and tasty. Unfortunately, the size is too small; more like a langostino than a lobster tail. But I'm glad I tried it!
Pros:
Very tasty; melt in your meltCons:

We ate here, as a party of 5, 3 adults, and 2 children on 14/10/13 for dinner.
Our waiter was Uncle Tim, and he played into the role really well. Giving my dad trouble for wearing his hat on in the house and my mom and I multiple times for having our elbows on the table and playing with our cell phones. No one got put in the corner though. lol.
We made it very easy for the wait staff, the 3 adults had the pork roast, and the little ones had the fish. Everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughy. I also had the PB&J milk shake, which was delicious and different! For dessert, my parents had the brownie sundae, and I had the Bostom Cream Parfait. I'm not really one for chocolate or sweets, so it was a little rich for me. I did end up giving half of it to the girls. Both my parents seemed to enjoy their dessert as well.
I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu!

We stayed at the Port Orleans River side from October 08-16, 2013. I was travelling with my Mom, Dad, and my neices who are 4 and 7. We had a double stroller and a scooter for my dad.
I had checked in online, and our wait was not very long to check in to our room. Our room was not yet ready, but the staff did call to see if there was a room they could potentially put us in. There was! We were in the Alligator Bayou, room 2404. Getting to our room seemed to take forever because of the location. My one complaint is that they need some sort of internal transportation system to get around the resort. Our bags were being looked after by Disney's Magical Express, so we only had our carry on bags to cart around.
My one other complaint about the resort is the food court. The food was delicious, but trying to move around, especially in the morning, with a double stroller and a scooter was next to impossible. It was just too overly crowded.
The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the trundle bed slept the 2 little ones perfectly.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay. We were not very far from the west depot bus stop, which was usually the first or second stop to get on or off.
I loved this hotel and will stay here again....If I don't have to stay in Alligator bayou, the rooms were just too far from the main lobby/pool.
Pros:
Land Scape, pools, staff, bus stop locations.Cons:

The week of October 7, 2013 we stayed at the French Quarter. One night my son said he wanted ribs. After seeing the ribs in the pan I decided to also have. They were great. Living in the greater Memphis area we have many named rib restaurants. These ribs were equal or better. So much so, that another night I had the ribs again just to see if the first time was a fluke or reality. Fantastic. Only negative...the portion is only a quarter of a rack.
Pros:

We love this resort! We stayed here last year and returned this month as part of a two resort trip. Our family liked our second resort(a deluxe) but all agreed that Art of Animation is our favorite. We stayed in the Cars area both last year and this year. Great theme and the colors are not overboard. The only negative is that the food court can be really loud and confusing during busy periods. However, it would not prevent any of us from returning!

Our group of 8 ( 5 adults 3 children) had lunch here on Oct 13th. The experience was wonderful and well worth the price. From the minute you walk in and have pictures taken with Cinderella to the end of the meal, the cast members are very attentive and make you feel very special. The princesses are portrayed like you see them in the movies and they take time at each table talking and taking pictures with you. The food was one of our best meals while at Disney, and I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. You get shared appetizers of cheese, humus and flat bread, then you get to pick your entrée and dessert. The menu doesn't have a lot of choices but what we got was very good. I chose the short rib, which was cooked perfectly and was very tender and the cheesecake was to die for. I would highly recommend this character meal.

Stayed from Oct 11th thru the 16th. Had asked for a first floor room, which we got but unfortunately it was a 15 min. walk to the food court which didn't help, one person in our group has mobility problems. The room itself was kept very clean the entire time we were there and there was plenty of room. The food court was extremely busy at breakfast time making long lines and hard to find available tables, but there are plenty of very good food selections. The wait for buses was very long and with a resort as big as Riverside is you would think they would have double the buses running . We had tickets for the Halloween party and with all the people at the bus stop going to the same place you would think they would take that into account and schedule buses accordingly. Going back to the resort was even worse. Its a very pretty resort but I will probably not stay here again, its too big for us and the cast members were not as friendly as I remember from a previous visit.

We love this resort. Stayed there again 10/8 to 10/15. We have stayed there several times.
We love the size of it. Compared to other resorts that you have to walk likes seems miles this is just the right size. Although it is busy in the dining room at times, again, it is much better than some other resorts.
WE love the feature of having a boat right there that can run us over to Downtown Disney, West Side, etc. Kind of spoils us and we enjoy it.
I just love the gentleman at the front door who greets you as you get off the Disney bus from the airport and "welcomes you home". During the week, many times he is there to see you off your daily tours. Such a friendly, pleasant man and a great addition to POFQ.
Our favorite resort!

We ate here twice between 10/8 and 10/15. I was surprised at how good their food is and the service, well, I thought much better than some of the bigger restaurants that charge much more. And the staff, well they are ALL friendly with smiles on their face and manners like it used to be.
Their food, yumm, yumm. I had their spaghetti Bolognese twice. Sooo delicious!!! My son had pizza both times and loved it, My husband had the spaghetti Bolognese one time and then had a salad the second time. He loved both. Their crème brulee was very good too.
They were such a surprise to us but rest assured, we will be going back on our next visit to the World in Dec. We go to WDW 2 to 3 times a year and they will be on our list of places to go each time.

We ate here on Oct 10 and overall enjoyed the meal. We were put in the room to the right as you enter the restaurant. At first I was not happy with the location but then once we went up to get our food I thought better of it. We were out of the crowd and the hustle and bustle and it was quieter eating. Next time I will ask for that room.
My husband always liked their spareribs that they did not have this time. He felt that they did not have as much to choose from. I was content with the food...all the seafood makes me happy. The cod I sort of tripped over since they had it in small pieces in the kid' meal section. I'm sure many people missed it.
Their salads are always good and were again this time. Their soup was delicious but I passed on the carrot soup.
Our waitress was not very friendly. I know they are very busy in here but that is not the fault of the customers. Usually the staff is friendly, at least from our experience. She also was very slow to come to our table.
We will however go back on one of our next trips to the World.
