Review of Planet Hollywood - Closed for Renovation

When I went to Planet Hollywood, it was probably the best part of my first night at Disney World (then again, we didn't go to any of the parks that day). As a HUGE movie junkie, I immediately fell in love with the S.S. Jenny from Forrest Gump at the front of the restaurant. The inside of Planet Hollywood is exactly what you would expect- so loud you can't hear the person next to you speak with a huge store full of obnoxious souvenirs. Nothing out of the ordinary for a chain restaurant of this manner. Loved the movie props, costumes, and actor memorabilia everywhere. For an extra fee (I believe?) you can broadcast your party's name onto the giant screen alongside your favorite Disney characters, which can be fun and exciting to parents traveling with children. Food was great but not outstanding.
All in all, these place is perfect if you're with a group of kids or teenagers who are into loud, fast-paced restaurants, especially if they will appreciate all the movie memorabilia everywhere. However, it can be overwhelming to some people, especially those with small children. My parents didn't like it and my sister wasn't thrilled by it, but I liked it a lot.

I was disappointed with this after I had heard such good things. It was so big you could only see the characters if they were close to your table. The food was just ok. I like the Chrystal Palace much better for breakfast.

The make it yourself pasta and burgers were very good!! We did the pizza one night and this was good too. CMs were very helpful.

The food was very good!! A good variety too, Waffles, eggs french toast, fruit. Something for everyone in the family.

It was a pleasant change from burgers and pizza. This was the only place we went to twice the week we were here. The interior was pretty authentic.

The princesses all came to our table and gave the kids autographs. They were both pretty thrilled. The food was ok, but not the best we had all week. The castle was pretty awesome.

The pictures of this place don't do it justice, it was so beautiful!! Dinners were all very good. We had Steak and the Seafood, they even let me just get shrimp and leave out the scallops.
It was wonderful to meet the beast, he wasn't very talkative though.

The restaurant was really nice inside and the food was delicious. We couldn't even do dessert. The waitress was very nice so we upped her 18% tip.

We had so much fun with the characters!! My grandson wanted to go again the next night. Th food was very good too!! One thing though, don't come here right after Soarin, my Granddaughter had some motion sickness.

The resort was wonderful!! We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. The kids and I adored our stay and would stay here again. I loved all the colors and music. CMs were very helpful and friendly. It was handy to all of the parks except AK.
