I hate to submit a bad review of anywhere in the World-I mean, its THE WORLD, but this was so disappointing. To start we had no fridge-annoying but not the end of the world, but when I asked at the desk I was promised a cool box "within the hour"-for 3 successive days before it was actually delivered! This is not what I expect from Disney-if they say they will do something I expect it done. The food court was awful due to ASSports being closed and everyone being bussed/walking over to ours. If I had known in advance of this I would have swapped to Pop. By far the most annoying was the buses to the Parks. First thing in a morning it seemed whichever bus we were waiting for, that was the one that didn't turn up for 30 minutes or more. On our first morning it was 40 minutes for a bus to MK. During that time every other park got at least 2 buses-DTD got 5-at 9am! Bizarrely in the evenings there was no problem leaving the parks with buses being plentiful even at park closing. The room was clean and perfectly functional, with mousekeeping a little too prompt-8.30 most mornings we were visited unless we stuck the sign on the door for a lie-in! We definitely won't stop here again just because it seemed so badly serviced for buses and the food court situation-although I accept that will (hopefully) be a one time problem...

Check in was great - personnel took the time to explain everything with the wrist bands and how they worked. All staff were friendly and helpful. Best location if you want to spend the majority of your time at EPCOT. Rooms could use some repair work, sink stopper was broken when we checked in and the HVAC system was pulling away from the wall.

We recently purchased a DVC membership and our first stay was at Bay Lake Tower in a lake view studio. The rooms are very nice with a kitchenette. The location was amazing! The monorail to MK and Epcot was great. We actually walked home one night after we left MK. The top of the world lounge has the best views of the fireworks that I have ever seen and this is my 20th trip to Disney.
The only food at Bay Lake is the pool bar but the walk over to Contemporary was quick and easy. We were on the DDP and ate quick service at Contemporary and Polynesia for lunch.
Buses were great, never waited too long for any bus service. Customer service was top notch.
My 6 year old loved the pool and slide at Bay Lake and Contemporary. We were able to use both pools. We went during busy summer season, but resort never felt crowded. I would recommend this resort. Our next trip, we will try out the new Grand Floridian.
Pros:
great room, great pool, locationCons:

My family just dined her tonight, all I can say is we were disappointed all the way around. We have never eaten here before and were looking forward to the belly dancer. In the 1 1/2 hours we were there she dance for a total of about 10 minutes and then we were not able to see her because of being seated in the far corner of the restaurant. The food was cold and tasteless. We thought we would at least end the meal with a tasty dessert - wrong 🙁 The server was not very attentive. Overall completely disappointed I wasted a table service meal here.

Attended the Food & Wine Fest 10/18-10/21. Great as usual! I think unless you are in the food bizz, you can't truly imagine how hard this type of event is to pull off. I am impressed every year..truly, how hard everyone works to make this a truly incredible event. The food booths churn out this massive amount of food that is PERFECT...my white wines are cold, my reds are even perfect temp...and the food is just amazing. The crowds are handled very well on the weekends...yes, it's crowded but the lines move. There will always be drunk folks but I didn't think it was any worse this year. You can't control that. I will say, bringing more beer in is a great idea to get the beer drinkers involved and spirits for those that like liquor, but that drunk factor is going to rise now. We'll see if that causes some changes in the years to come. I still love this though and the special events are extraordinary!!! The festival shops are great and LOVE the paintings by Heather French - visit her Whiskers and Wine paintings while at the F&W fest....she is one GREAT artist! Looking forward to next October!!

I love this resort....it's my 4th time here and each time it impresses me! I didn't splurge for a savannah room this time but my pool room was perfect. I love staying here because of the animals (as I think most would say), but also the staff is great, the pool is amazing, all the restaurants are wonderful (especially JIKO). Had an amazing dinner at Jiko. The rooms have a nice balcony too! It was a nice touch that my room was ready at 11:30...well before designated check-in. Mousekeeping was great per usual. Just another lovely stay and I cannot wait to return next year! I do agree with most that the distance to other parks is far but it's a worthy trade off to have the animals right there! Truly a great experience. With the planned changes to the Animal Kingdom Park, I'm looking forward to staying close to that park! Thank you again AKL staff for a lovely stay.

Another excellent dinner at Jiko. Was able to sit at the kitchen and chef Ryan and all the chefs took great care of me! Had the amazing Jiko salad, the taste of Africa (don't miss that), the flatbread (all are great), oysters (can miss this one), and the chocolate dessert which was INCREDIBLE. I do wish I had listened to Chef Ryan and ordered the pork loin but I was just too full! Next time! I can not imagine visiting Disney and not eating here....it is the BEST restaurant on Disney property....hands down. Thank you Jiko for another amazing dinner. I didn't even mention the wine...which is the BEST wine list ever.

We did the snorkeling and it was alot of fun. The tour guides were great and very friendly. Saw alot of fish and even a turtle! The streets were clean, the locals were friendly and the shopping areas were nice. Wish we had more time here and less in Falmouth.

Our tour guide was nice and informative, but there was very little to the ruins. I expected more. Most of the kids that were there were screeching and chasing (or throwing rocks) at the animals, which the parents were intentionally oblivious. We went to Playa, and although it was nice, we only had 90 minutes, so by the time you swam, it was time to get back on the bus. The stores in Cozumel have people hassling you as you are walking back to the boat. Think I am done with the Western Caribbean after one visit.
Falmouth Jamaica was much worse!
