First off we had to wait for over an hour to get out table, yes we had an ADR. Service was slow but that was somewhat understandable. The food on the other hand was terrible! We won't ever go back, no reason to return.

We eat here every trip, the only thing that isn't great are the desserts, YUCK! They will give fresh fruit in place of the other dessert choices. We will go here every time.

We sat next to a group of conference attendees who had wine with every course. The noise level went up as they finished each bottle. The steaks we each chose were extraordinary. I could cut my filet with a couple of swipes of my knife. I can't remember what I had with the steak but it was good. I also had the bisque which was delicious. Our waiter was wonderful. He knew what we needed and would get it before we asked for it. It is expensive here but the steak was the best I have ever experienced. I would come back again on the dining plan but probably not if I had to pay cash for the dinner.

I would rate this restaurant as Excellent for seafood; not so good for anything else. I am glad I went but probably would not bother again. I enjoyed the salmon and the salads but I am not really a seafood buff. My daughter and her husband love it but if we travel together again, I will definitely eat at another location while they go here. However, for seafood lovers it is a really good value.

My daughter and I got a breakfast skillet; her husband got an omelet. Everything was hot and delicious. The server was attentive but not overwhelming. This definitely made my list of permanent restaurants to go. I will try dinner here next time.

We ate breakfast here a couple of times. While the food wasn't bad, it was not always hot unless you ordered something that had to be fixed fresh. Convenient location and opened early for coffee, soda, iced tea, etc. Most mornings we ate or had coffee when we got to the parks. I have stayed at other resorts where I actually preferred their quick service meals to sit down.

Just got back from 1/21 to 1/30 stay. Daughter and her husband loved it. I have no complaints about the resort other than bus service was spotty. Some days, 3 or 4 buses to Epcot or the AK would show up one right after the other while we sat and waited for the MK or HS buses. The wait was not bad in the mornings but in the afternoons it could be long. All the cast members were really nice and went out of their way to accommodate your needs. We stayed in bldg 3 which was pretty close to everything.

We went from Jan 4th to Jan 11th. All the Disney hotels are nice. What I enjoy about staying at a Disney resort is being in the Disney bubble all week and having everything function perfectly. All I have to do is get my kids moving in the morning and the Mouse does the rest. That was the case at Saratoga. We decided being close to the bus stop was better than being close to the restaurants. We got a room in The Grandstand which was one minute from the bus stop (and the first one on the line in the morning, first stop on the way back) and about five minutes from the main building/restaurants.
That location was perfect. It was early January and we get moving early with a 4 and 2 year old, two mornings we had our own bus. On the return trip we only waited more than 10 minutes twice. One night there was a big crowd but clearly Disney ordered more buses because they just kept coming one after the other.
Saratoga has the boat to Downtown Disney, that's nice.
We only ate at the quick service restaurant which is pricey for what you get, Disney has gotten very greedy about it's food pricing. The soda refill policy is annoying as well, I mean, soda is pure profit.
The location is only okay, long bus ride to MK, medium bus ride to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
This is the least appealing deluxe resort in my view. A late 1800s horse race theme isn't very exciting to me, my kids were completely indifferent.
If you get over the lack of appeal everything else is nice, several pools, clean and so on. We have other resorts we want to try so we probably won't be back to Saratoga soon but we enjoyed our stay there.

I go for the great soups and unusual salads but others in my party (there were 7 of us) go for the full experience including the meat station. On our recent visit the line for the carving station was never less than 20 people deep and service was slow. 2 adults ended grabbing chicken legs off the kids station. Several people also felt the side offerings had decreased from our previous visits.
Since we payed out of pocket and used the Tables in Wonderland card, the tip for the meal was over $40. There's no way the server earned that amount during the 75 minutes we were there.
