Had dinner ADR 4-01-14. We were staying at the Caribbean, so I thought we could have one early night during our week stay at Disney.
We were able to walk to this restaurant from our room and were seated almost exactly at our ADR time of 6pm, which was good. Everything after that was horrible.
Our waitress here was by far the worst server at any other Disney location. She took a very long time to get drinks, messed things up several times and then confessed that she "very new and still learning". I asked how long she had been there and she responded "since last September". That is 7 months on the job and still telling guests "your in training"??
The restaurant was not very busy and there were several empty tables. The menu was not complicated and we ordered straight from the menu with no modifications.
Our drinks ran completely out, to the point where we had even eaten the ice in the glasses- - they were totally empty!
We both ordered steak, cooked medium and it came with green beans and a plantain gratin. The steak was served rare and was cold. The green beans were a cool room temp as was the gratin. The server finally came by and asked how our dinner was and I said it was "ok" since the wait between ordering, the salad and the steak was extraordinary and we just wanted out of there. She did ask "why is it not great" so I told her it was served rare, not medium and everything on the plate was cold.
She had the chef come to the table, which I really did not want her to do since we were already upset about the service and the food, I just wanted to leave knowing I will never go back.
I explained to him that our food was served too cool and the steak was totally rare. His response was indifference though he did say he would check the other patron's food to be sure theirs was warm. No suggestion to buy us a drink or discount the meal and no apology for the horrible meal we served.
We checked in at 6 pm and it was after 8pm when we were leaving. I will never eat here again.

We had a lunch ADR 4-01-14. We waited quite a while to be seated, the place was packed and there was no available seating while we waited.
The best part of this lunch was our server. He was so friendly and joked with my DS. This place was crazy busy, but our server seemed right at home and always on top of things.
I ordered the pot stickers for the app and they were very greasy (I thought they were supposed to be steamed, not fried). My entree was the Lo Mein. It was not bad, nothing to rave about. My biggest complaint was the Lo Mein was basically a big bowl of fried cabbage and shrimp with very few noodles.
The decor in this place is very interesting. The food was so- so, but our server's personality made up for the rest. This was our second visit at this restaurant and I would likely eat here again.

We arrived early for our ADR 4-01-14 and were taken in with only a short wait to get our photo made with Donald. . . but there was a photographer, but no Donald.
Inside we were seated in a far corner, the waitress seemed shaken they were so busy (I would think anyone working at Disney would be accustomed to the crowds).
She brought us juice and was not unfriendly- - just overwhelmed, which made me uncomfortable to even ask for a drink refill.
The buffet has a good variety of food and everything I tried tasted fresh.
I thought the characters moved fast at Crystal Palace, but these characters act like they are racing to some finish line. This is a pricey buffet breakfast, guests are paying for the character experience- - not scramble eggs and paper thin bacon, so make it worth our while by slowing down a bit!
At the end of our meal, we were ready for the park, but it took a very long time to check out. The waitress finally came to scan my magic band and left. . . for at least 10 minutes. She returned, apologized and said the info was deleted somehow and she needed to scan me again. Another 10 to 15 minutes and she was finally back. We waited about 25 minutes just to check out- - that was not an acceptable amount of time.
While the food was good and my DS enjoys the characters, this was not a favorite dining experience.

We ate here for the first time 3-31-14 for dinner. I had ADR and was seated less than 5 minutes after checking in; however, our table was in the back of the restaurant. One of the reasons I made an ADR here was to watch the fish swimming while we ate. We could only see the very tip top of the tank where we were seated.
Our server was great, she was very attentive, cleared table between courses and kept our drinks filled.
I had the flash fried tuna and it was melt in your mouth delicious. The mahi mahi for entree was very good. The meal took a little longer than I would have liked, but overall it was very good. I would eat here again, but would request a table closer to the tank at check in next time.

One of my DS's favorite movies is Ratatouille. In years past, Remy came around during lunch on a cart and engaged the kids in a conversation. It was one of our favorite experiences since unlike the other characters who pat their heads and hurry off, Remy would linger at each table a while. When we asked about Remy, we were sad to hear he had "moved back to Paris".
The servers here are all from France. Ours was a perfect 10! Drinks were never empty, tables were cleared quickly and the meal was paced perfectly. He took time to tell us about where he was from, made suggestions from the menu and discussed how they served certain items in his hometown.
My biggest complaint is this place is one of the tightest we've been in any Disney restaurant. They really need to do something about how close the tables are- - - the table to my right was less than 6 inches from us- - they could have literally eaten off of our table. The table behind us was so close neither of us could move our chairs back to get up.
I had the cheese plate and it was my favorite part of the meal. I ordered the flat bread for my entree, it was nothing to rave about but it wasn't bad either. The sorbet was a great ending.

This is the best princess breakfast on Disney property. We've been here 3 times and 3 times were very satisfied.
The servers are all from Norway and the buffet portion of the breakfast has a variety of Norwegian foods, which adds a cultural learning opportunity for the kids. In addition to the buffet, a family style platter of food is brought to the table with eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes.
There is a photo with Belle before you are seated and then several other princesses come to the table during the meal.
This restaurant is very busy, very crowded and like all character dining experiences, hectic and loud. I would recommend checking in early, since you will wait for your name to be called after checking in, then wait in another line to meet Belle, and then seated for breakfast. However, this is by far our favorite princess breakfast and I think leaps and bounds better than Cinderella Castle (and is only one table service meal credit if you are on the dining plan!).
Pros:
Friendly service & princess too!Cons:

Once again, Teppan Edo came through for us. This time we had scallops (excellent), swordfish (perfect) and Filet Mignon (yummmy). They don't serve white rice anymore, but instead it is a brown rice with some kind of meat. We discovered green iced tea this trip, which is very yummy. EVERY single person who works in this restaurant is exceptional. Love this place.

They really need a line to order breakfast sandwiches and another if you just get coffee. All the people in front of me were picking things for the dining plan and I just wanted a little ole cup of coffee, which took 20 minutes.

I hoped that this food would be good since it was the most convenient for Bay Lake Tower, but we were wrong. The food all tastes like they cook it earlier and then just warm it up. They do have sugar free brownies and they are delicious. The chicken flat bread tasted like it was on a cracker. Made me miss Roaring Fork. Breakfast is the best thing served.

Once again, we had the best meal of our trip at Yachtsman. Started off with their bread (onion rolls are to die for) with roasted garlic. Yummy! One son had a the Assortment of Artisanal Cheeses plate and the other had Charcuterie Board which were delicious and fun to try new things. We all had the filets, which were cooked to perfection along with mashed potatoes. Our server, Bill was the epitome of a professional server. Will eat there again. And again. And again.
