Nice platters of shrimp and a fish/chicken combo. We ordered broccoli as a side but unfortunately got the incorrect side of fries. After such a long wait we were unwilling to argue. That was our only negative. Seating upstairs always seems to be some of the most plentiful in the Magic Kingdom. Dessert of the cobbler was unusually good for the Magic Kingdom, apple and cinnamon cobbler.
Pros:
freshly cooked fried food and plentiful seatingCons:

We used a good percentage of our snack credits here on frapuccinos and found it to be a great use of a credit on a hot August day. Not being a starbucks customer here in the UK it was all new to me and you could order any size of the coffees or cold drinks as a snack credit. We enjoyed coffee, strawberries and crème, vanilla bean and choc chip at various points over our two week trip.
The value of a counter service credit wasn't so good with the option of a pastry, piece of fruit and drink as a counter service credit.
Great addition to Walt Disney World.

we booked here kicking and screaming at our daughter's insistence as we have always refused to take a nine hour flight and then eat in the 'UK'. She felt that after ten days in Florida she would need a taste of home and as we all choose a percentage of our reservations we went along for the ride. Suffice it to say that we weren't looking forward to this in the least - big mistake.
The only negative as per the previous poster is that we were automatically sat outside in the sun on a very hot August day.
Typically British we sat there without even considering asking to be moved but in hindsight we ought to have done so.
The view from outside however is beautiful and if like me you enjoy the heat you will love it.
We had soft drinks to start with (all served in pint pots - my Dad would be horrified to see a woman drinking out of a pint glass but hey when in America...............)
I then succumbed to a nice glass of English Lager and it was certainly as delicious as it is at home.
My husband ate the fish and chips and said it was as good as at home.
The other three of us had the surf and turf. A bizarre concoction of half fried fish and the other half roast dinner with steak instead of a normal roast beef but all was cooked to perfection. This was accompanied by an English 'Aunt Bessies' type of Yorkshire pudding.
For dessert my son had the trifle which was actually more like an old fashioned jelly and custard dessert rather than a traditional English trifle. The rest of us had an amazing sticky toffee pudding.
Rose and Crown you did us Brits proud. Our only suggestion is that you offer the choice of indoors or outdoors at the podium.
As an additional mention our server took lots of time to explain to my very interested twelve year old daughter exactly the details of her time working at Epcot, the interview procedure and all about her time in the USA. Fantastic!!
Pros:
excellent food, drink and serviceCons:

Our first time eating at Palo as we have always cruised with children prior to this cruise. Mo is an absolute treasure! He had wonderful suggestions and I went with all of them! We dined three times in our five day cruise with him. This is a must on all of our next cruises, we cannot wait to return to the Magic!

We had a couple's massage on the last night of our cruise so that we would be relaxed for our flight home the next day. Wow, was that a mistake. My husband's was fine, I felt like I was being beaten up and I enjoy a deep tissue massage! The up selling at the end was another turn off. I won't bother with this ever again sadly.
Pros:
Husband's massage was goodCons:

During a day of browsing the counter service and stores of Epcot my daughter chose here to eat. She had a steak (declining the red wine sauce) with broccoli and potatoes. Nice to see a good choice of fresh veg at a counter service meals.
She went with a chocolate milk and her pudding was a rocky road brownie.
She enjoyed it all and it looked fantastic. Plenty of seating inside and out even on a busy August day.

Ok so let's get the price out of the way first - we visited 8th August and the price suggests something way out of the league of the current Le Cellier, service is ok, restaurant is ok, seating is very close together, food is average.
Take the price out of the game and then my objective view slightly changes from a 4 to a 7.
The bread remains very good however we have noticed that you have to ask for more it is never just refilled nowadays.
The cheddar cheese soup is not to my taste but remains enough reason for my 16 year old son to choose this restaurant above many others for one of his two table services choices of a two week holiday.
The meat is cooked under most USA restaurants but this was clearly indicated to us when ordering. Even so I'm not sure why they just cant cook a medium the same as all other restaurants and not just medium rare instead!
The ribeye steaks were very nice but very salty. The sides are not great.
I enjoyed the maple crème brulee and my husband tried the unusual flavours of sorbet but there was nothing attractive for the kids so they declined (even though it was included in our two credits on the dining plan) and opted to use a snack credit elsewhere in EPCOT rather than choose from the small choice here.
As a side note in two weeks my carnivore daughter ate steak a minimum of once and sometimes twice a day. We joked she must have eaten her body meat in the red meat we restrict at home but here she ate less than half of her steak. That should tell this steak place something.

We stayed in Suite 8602 on the Magic for a 5 night cruise from Barcelona on August 7. Large veranda was wonderful, this is a handicap accessible room. We had wonderful service and our room was spotless! It can be noisy when moving chairs in restaurant above but did not bother us. Would definitely sail on Magic again. Tawanda was absolutely amazing!

I'm a Type A planner, and spend a lot of time perusing menus and figuring out what I'm going to eat to see if the meal plan is worth it. I have spread sheets to compare options. As I'm an AP holder, I compared purchasing Tables in Wonderland, or using the regular DDP, which was available to me for $48.99/night. Even at that rate, the DDP was still a better deal than TIW or completely out of pocket.
I saved about $75 and didn't eat anymore than I normally would. Since it was so hot, I was happy to have snack credits for frozen lemonades and other cold treats. I enjoyed all you care to eat meals for dinner at Garden Grill, Boma, 1900 Park Fare, and Chef Mickey's, as well as a breakfast at Tusker House.
While I do agree that the option of an appetizer or dessert would be nice, I think that if you are willing to do some planning ahead of time, the DDP can be a great deal.

This was my first time using Memory Maker. I was pleased at the abundant number of photographers I saw throughout the theme parks and water parks. Nearly every character I met (and that was a lot of characters!) had a photographer with them. I encountered some new magic shots, such as one with Chip the tea cup, that I absolutely adored.
The long range RFID readers are great on the rides. I never had to stop at a photo counter as all the photos (except one) showed up automatically. I think the new on ride video for Tower of Terror is cute but not as cool as it was hyped up to be.
It seems there are fewer options for borders on the website than in the past. The website is also notoriously slow, particularly when there are many pictures in the account. This has always been a problem, even on the old Photopass site, but there has to be a way to improve it!
