The process of ordering your food and waiting for it was confusing and chaotic. It was way too small of a restaurant and didn't have enough outdoor seating as well. The small, simple hot dog wasn't worth the effort it took to get it and get seated.

Pros:

Easy menu

Cons:

not enough seating, bad for large groups, weird ordering process

This was our second experience here, and it was a great one. The princesses really focused on our daughter and made sure her experience was magical. Food was pretty good, actually, and our server went out of his way to make sure everyone at my table was happy and had a full tummy! I wouldn't recommend coming here every time you go to Disney, but definitely try it once... especially if you have princess fans in your group.

Pros:

Surprised with the food, great character interactions, excellent service

Cons:

Price

All the food at our table was excellent. We could've saved ourselves some money by sharing pizzas (they were huge!). We were welcomed in without a reservation. Our server, Marco was super friendly. We had a great time here.

Pros:

Amazing food, great service

Cons:

Price

I'm so sad to give this a low score, but we had a terrible experience here. The server rushed as in and out so quickly, characters came to our table while we were up at the buffet, and it wasn't worth the price tag.

Pros:

Good food, characters

Cons:

Rushed in and out, pricey

Overall, we were very disappointed with our Halloween lunch (Sept 2019). While we were quickly seated, the food was not good (even the standard kids fair). The characters took a long time to make their way around (even though the restaurant was far from full). We waited over 20 minutes after eating to meet them, which was the sole reason we were there.

Based on the reviews, I was not expecting much, but it still missed the mark. If they changed it up to a family-style meal, we'd consider going back. At this point, we won't go again.

Pros:

Quickly Seated

Cons:

Basic buffet food, slow service, and look wait for character interactions

The food was the best breakfast we had all trip. The family-style meal was perfect for our almost 3-year-old, so much easier (and tastier) than a buffet. The characters were great fun. The service was very attentive (even if rushed as they were clearly covering too many tables!). Start to finish, we were in and out in under 45 minutes and got to meet all the characters (a few of them twice!).

We will absolutely be back on our next trip.

Pros:

Delish food, family-style service, high-quality character interactions

Cons:

None!

Review of Grand Floridian Resort (Deluxe Resort)

Overall, it was a gorgeous resort, but overpriced (even with a 25% discount). We felt it had limited food options for us (not impressed with Gasparilla Grill or the Pool Bar food), as we weren't interested in the higher end options available. Service was fine, but not remarkable. The bus as abysmal at best.

Really, it was the location (with monorail, walk to the Poly, and boat service) and the pool that made the trip. I'd recommend it, but we're not in a rush to return.

Pros:

Amazing location, great zero-entry pool, spacious room with very comfortable beds

Cons:

Bus service (true of any on-property resort), limited non-high end food options.

Had lunch here, the chicken was delicious, the vegetables that went with it excellent. Really like the menu that was different from run of the mill choices elsewhere and looking forward to trying other menu items. Line to order wasn't too bad either

Pros:

Good food, excellent variety, very immersive environment, creative desserts and drinks

Cons:

A little crowded, but that's to be expected as it is so new.

We love it here!! The peacefulness of the resort is probably the best part. The cast members are all amazing. The pools are beautiful. We love the small size of the resort compared to others. The lobby is much quieter than the other deluxe resorts as well. My husband loves Whispering Canyon, even before we stayed here it was a must do for him. Looking forward to our annual stay in October.

Pros:

Quiet. Good food. Amazing cast members.

Cons:

We only wish they had an adult only hot tub. We leave the kids home with grandparents and would love some time without kiddos.

A reminder that the real world exists in Disney. A great frolic through old fashioned 2D experience. The fact that you end in a journey to hell is such a shocking ending that you have to appreciate it.

Pros:

Short lines, different experience

Cons:

May not be appropriate for very young children
