We just completed a trip to Disney and stayed in Port Orleans French Quarter. We were assigned to unit #7. We liked being out of the busy area. Nice and quiet and the walk to the restaurant was very pleasant.
Pros:
The refrigerator in the room was contained in the cabinet next to the drawers. It was a standard size for a hotel found everywhere while traveling. It was nice to keep water and food cold. Boat trip was complementary and not much of a a wait to Disney Springs.Cons:

I loved this resort for the pool, skyliner, room cleanliness, and Caribbean feel! The buses work great but the Skyliner is a real game changer and provides a unique experience in itself. I don’t feel like the resort was too spread out but maybe I got lucky with my room location. One negative was the food, I wish there were better quick service options. Maybe next time we will try Sebastian’s Bistro. We will be staying here for our second time in 2024.

Fantastic spot for a late EPCOT area dinner .. .. The staff was nice enough to give our party of 13 a cozy, semi-private corner .. ..
Had a lovely mocktail before digging in to their homemade RIGATONI and I do believe it was the best I've had .. .. Luscious .. ..
As we had a late dinner, our lovely server TAYLOR let us take our time so we could enjoy EPCOTs fireworks from their balcony .. ..

Finally had time to pop in and relax at their 11:00AM opening and was dying to try their BISON BURGER and it was fantastic!
One of the best burgers I've had ~ Juicy, tasty and perfectly-cooked!
And, having said burger on the lakefront .. .. Wonderful!!

Always a lovely evening in ANIMAL KINGDOM starting @ NOMAD LOUNGE .. .. SATAY CHICKEN was tasty .. ..
TIFFINS was a delight as usual .. .. BREAD SERVICE was delicious but do I recall correctly that it used to be bigger with more sauces?
Had the tasty SZECHUAN NOODLES + BROCCOLINNI and it was fine but I wish it had a bit more tang .. ..
Best thing about a later reservation is being able to close down the joint and exit into an empty Animal Kingdom .. .. Wonderful!

I am a local to Disney World and I have never gotten to eat here yet. But an last minute reservation opened up and I snagged it while my son who would not really enjoy the meal was in school. So, I showed up a little early and didn't wait very long at all. Was sent up and sat down right next to a window. Which was awesome and very rarely type of thing to happen to me. But as it was great having my own side of a window and space. The glare was very bad and took some away from the whole experience. I got the Duck Confit and it was amazing. Now I love duck and rarely ever have it but one of the best 'Lift Off' (appetizer) I have ever had. Shouldn't be an App but should be a meal was just amazing. Then for the main course I got their 'Gemini Burger' which was alright but has good flavor but it relies to much on the Roasted Pepper Citrus Aioli to give it flavor. The Bacon they use is a thick very flavorful cut. Overall it was good but not worth the price tag to eat here but the Duck that I had was. I would go back up there again just for the duck.
The restaurant is very heavily and well themed. It does take quite a bit of time to get in and have your party called to go up in the elevator to go to Space. The time just to get to space was probably around a minute or so. So not very long. But the whole experience and I was a long and I ordered a cocktail: Black Hoe Fashioned it is their take on an Old Fashion. Not bad but definitely not the best Old Fashion I have ever had. But they did have just one large ice cube and it is space themed as well. Then I had one of their beers on tap which was fine. When you shine light into it; it sparkles which was pretty cool.
Overall, it is a great experience and the food is very good. Will be back again another time.

I would not have included even a single star if that was an option. I scheduled Mears Global Select sedan service to return to the airport. The original driver was a \"no show\" and the substitute driver was 20 minutes late. If you have ever been through TSA at Orlando's airport, you know how long the process is and how stressful it was for me when Mears failed to deliver as promised, despite the price of its premium service. We were very disappointed in our experience. My 4 year old was so excited about this experience. She talked about it for months before our trip. When we got there, she was asked how she wanted her hair. The hairstyle she wanted came with a big bow, and she did not want tge big bow just the hairstyle. I was going to buy a headband tiara set separately, so that the hairstyle could be done, but the lady helping was very pushy about the bow vs the bun to get the tiara. ( My daughter wanted cinderella but not the bun.) She also didn't even ask about shoes, I happened to see them as we waited and another lady helped me. When she went in to her fairy godmother, she was already nervous. Now,she loved getting to pick out her nail polish and eye colors. But you could tell, she was so sad about the rest. As soon as she was done. She ran to me, put her head on my shoulder and quietly cried. She was so upset, we went to the barber shop to see if they would accept a walk in and help. Thank goodness for Carmen and Lauren there. Bibbidy bobbidy could have been magical but they chose to not listen to a quiet 4 year old and push a decision on her that "they" approved of. So disappointed and saddened by this experience. ?

While it certainly wasn't as bad as the art of animation resort, the cons absolutely outweigh the pros especially when you factor in how exorbitantly expensive this place is.
I encountered one genuinely polite cast member.
The food at the restaurants on the boardwalk is worse than the food inside the parks and equally expensive. You cannot charge Michelin starred prices for convenience store quality food and propose it as a long term strategy.
For most people, a Disney world vacation is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It is sad to see what has happened with what is supposed to be the most magical place on Earth.

The only thing good about this resort is the proximity to two of the parks.Cons:
This hotel is just a gussied up Hampton inn. Yes you can tell that it is recently refurbished but that's certainly does not qualify for how much Disney is charging for people to stay here.Review of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

This ride was so much fun, any Harry Potter fan would love it. It was a lot of movement and screen that show different things going on in hogwarts. However if you are prone to motion sickness, I would not ride it. Overall really fun, some of the movements were a bit iffy but it was great
