I loved the food. Especially the meatballs. The princess were so sweet and patient with my daughter. My daughter wanted to run to the princesses at other tables that I had to hold her back from but would get nervous when they came to our table. She hid under the table when Snow White came by and Snow White knelt on the ground next to the table until my daughter wasn’t shy and gave Snow White a big hug. It was so sweet and a special moment.
Pros:
Lots of princesses and food is so goodCons:

The food is ok. The corn was really good randomly. Fun to see all the characters and easy to see the characters even when not at your table.
Pros:
Lots of time to see the characters and wide selectionCons:

Roundup Rodeo suffers from the same issue as Coral Reef. It’s all about the theme and disappoints from its offerings. The setting is beyond cute. The decor is imaginative and engaging. The food is served family style in a skillet. They do not have a children’s meal. This is a restaurant geared for kids yet the family style contains almost all entrees for an adult taste, save Mac and cheese. Family style meals seem to be the a Disney favorite of late. I enjoy a menu where I can pick my meal not one without a choice. The entrees were very average and they do not honor passholder discounts. At least Coral Reef offers a menu. Kids will probably leave hungry.

We had a terrible experience with mears on 1/27/2024. We were scheduled for a 10:10 pick up from our hotel. (Wilderness lodge) we have two babies, 3years old and 1year old. We were waiting for over 40 mins, as you can imagine the scene with the two kids waiting in the front lobby for over 40 mins. We could not get in touch with anyone, finally at 1045 we were picked up, only to have to drive to 5 other hotels to pick people up. We were running to catch our flight, we were minutes away from missing it. We usually have great experiences with mears but this was terrible.

In all of my years coming to the Disney Parks, today’s experience at the Backlot Express was the worst food I’ve Ever Experienced! We ordered the Southwest Salad which was supposed to have chicken breast on it (as per the signage), but actually had undercooked chicken thighs with disgusting pieces of uncooked chicken skin thrown in! It was totally inedible & I brought it to the attention of the manager who said that she was aware of the switch of the chicken parts and that nobody seems to want to change the menu sign that says it contains chicken breast meat. That is totally unacceptable! Exceptionally POOR management allowing this to happen with their knowledge of it!

If you are both Disney and Broadway obsessed, this is the show for you! I planned my trip so that I would have an opportunity to see 3 different performances. There are two incredible performers at each show. Some performers do some dancing as well. These shows are easy to get seating and don't require being there in advance, although there are dining packages available for reserved seating if that is a concern of yours. The last show I saw this trip was my absolute favorite. I saw Ashley Brown (original Broadway Mary Poppins) sing "Feed the Birds" and the tears just started to trickle down my face. Then L. Steven Taylor (current Broadway Mufasa) sang "They Live in You" and those tears didn't stop. It was such a beautiful and powerful experience. I really felt Disney magic.
