We ate here for my Birthday on Sunday and it was amazing! It was calm and quiet and the food was excellent. I had the mussel appetizer, rack of lamb and the canoli. The mussel's were one of the best things I have ever eaten. If you are looking for great food in a calm atmosphere I highly recommend it.

No better place to have Easter Dinner. 2nd trip here, the 1st was about 15 years ago and was everything I remember and more. The wait staff was amazing along with the food. I could go on forever about Artist Point, I have had some people say they wouldn't eat there since it is 2 sit downs on the dining plan. Well, they are really missing out.

We've eaten at Artist Point during two different deluxe dining trips over the past year and, on both trips, it was one of the top two dining experiences (and, on both trips, we also ate at Cali Grill, Jiko, Citricos, and Flying Fish).

Food and service were top notch both times. The portabello mushroom soup, buffalo, and berry cobler is one of the top meals at WDW.

This one of the most underrated restaurants at WDW. A true hidden gem. Take a boat ride over here for dinner at the end of a Magic Kingdom day. And make sure to take some time to enjoy the Wilderness Lodge lobby area. You won't regret it.

Pros:

great food and service

We ate here 1/18, (used TIW card) Me, DW, DS19 DD16 & DSI. The food was good DW and DS had the chicken. DSI, DD and I had the salmon. Salmon was good but you just received salmon and a very tiny amount of veggies. DW and Son said the chicken was good. But portions were small. This was the most expensive meal of this vacation but by no means the best. We will skip Artist Point for something else next time.

Pros:

Good food and service

Cons:

VERY overpriced

My daughter 2 granddaughters age 5 and 2 and grandson 9 went to the character meal in aug 2019 . The characters were brilliant but the service was beyond awful . I should have complained but when you are with 3 kids it’s not easy . We are DVc members since 2004 and come every Year for 2-4 weeks . We have done all the character dining (Topolinos breakfast by the way is amazing we did it in feb 2020) but I digress the problem was with my 26 month old granddaughter . The server completely ignored her . No food was offered as she sat there in her Snow White dress . Yes she should share ours and did , but she was not given any cutlery! no drink was offered ! We have never even not been offered a few fries for an infant . Many servers say “no child goes hungry “ and offer them a snack . Not even a plate was given for her , she could not understand why she had no spoon or plate !!! Even when the deserts came we had no plate for her to share ours on it was distressing . A totally awful thoughtless dining experience , I have wanted to review this for some time so took this opportunity .

Pros:

Characters

Cons:

Service and desert could be better it’s a bit weird

This is one of my favorite restaurants on property. I have eaten there several times and each time was exceptional. The wait staff was amazing and well informed.

Pros:

food, service, atmosphere

Cons:

I can't believe they are going to make this restaurant a character restaurant. Will not be returning!

Based on the reviews, my wife and I looked forward to our visit to Artist Point. The atmosphere was less than the "magical" experience you come to expect at Disney. While the server was very pleasant, we both found the food to be very disappointing. We felt that the taste of the food suffered due to the restaurants desire for an "over the top" presentation of the food. Having said all of this, this was the only disappointment of the entire trip.

Pros:

Friendly server

Cons:

Atmosphere, Overall Value

“Over rated, not worth the two dining credits :(”

My party of 8 dined at Artists Point on March 19h at 6pm and our waiter was Martin. He was very nice and an excellent server as he spent time with us answering our questions. The restaurant is elegant and the noise level was never too loud.
I expected an out of the world meal but it was just average. The food was better and tastier at Harbor House in Magic Kingdom. I ordered the salmon. On the menu it is described as their signature dish. "Cedar Plank roasted Salmon with sweet potato mash, house smoked bacon, winter vegetables and apple cider gastrique" for $39. The salmon tasted like farmed Atlantic salmon, it had no taste. The sweet potato mash was about 2 tablespoons spread on the plate. There were 3 small brussel sprouts that were halved. They were dry and the tops were hard and inedible. There was 3 small broccoli florets that were over roasted and dry. The bacon consisted of one piece about 2 inches. For $39 I would expect a few more vegetable and more than one small piece of bacon. The root vegetables did not taste good and I did not eat them.See the attached picture that shows my description. I could have complained about the dish but I was hungry and didn't feel like causing a disruption. My daughter also ordered the salmon and barely touched the whole plate. I had the suggested wine that was paired with the salmon and that was the most memorable part of the meal.
For dessert I had the chocolate creme brûlée which was good but nothing memorable.
Artists Point was a disappointment. The service was excellent but the meal fell flat and I expected more from this restaurant

Pros:

Excellent service

Cons:

over priced, signature salmon dish was tasteless

Both of us were most disappointed in Artist Point. We enjoy signature dining and had read many very positive reviews. However, we found the food mediocre at best. Our appetizers were rather up eventful-- my beets had three TINY pieces of beet although they were tasty. The entrees (pork and scallops) were fine but nothing special. Desserts were again plain (cobbler and creme brûlée) that could be found at many table service restaurants. We expect that signature dining should offer a special meal experience and Artist Point just did not offer anything that would justify signature dining to us.

Pros:

Ambiance

Cons:

Food was disappointing for a signature restaurant
