Olaf’s Frozen Adventure Featurette

Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) and Pixar Animation Studios are teaming up this holiday season when WDAS' new featurette "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" opens in front of Disney Pixar's original feature film "Coco" on November 22, 2017. The new trailer for the featurette will run in front of Disney Pixar's "Cars 3," beginning this Friday, June 16, when Lightning McQueen's new big-screen adventure opens in theaters nationwide.

Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe Closing

A recent article in the Orlando Business Journal reported that Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe at Disney Springs, operated by Chicago-based Levy Restaurants Inc., will close for good soon. The site, which encompasses several smaller venues (The Dining Room, Express, Sushi Bar and the Cafe), will begin laying off 193 workers starting August 1. Levy Restaurants is not involved in Puck's plans for Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill, a new location set to open in 2018 that will "modernize the traditional bar and grill concept in a setting inspired by traditional farmhouses with a touch of elegance. In addition, the Journal also speculated that Bongo's Cuban Cafe, owned by singer Gloria Estefan, may soon close.

The Force is strong at D23 Expo 2017 thanks to an entire pavilion dedicated to the Star Wars-themed lands coming to Disneyland park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The pavilion for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts: A Galaxy of Stories will feature a glimpse of the locations, starships, creatures and droids that will populate a remote village on the Outer Rim, and you will be able to experience the world premiere of a detailed model showcasing the immersive 14-acre lands coming to Disney Parks in 2019.

WALT DISNEY ANIMATION STUDIOS AND PIXAR ANIMATION STUDIOS D23 EXPO ANNOUNCEMENT

Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios will bring three days of film sneak previews, presentations, major announcements and immersive show floor experiences to the D23 Expo 2017, to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center this July 14-16. Cars 3, Coco, Olaf's Frozen Adventure, and Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, will be among the films featured during this event.
