If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, do you know where you’re going to stay? Choosing a hotel is a HUGE decision and could even make or break the perfect Disney trip.

Now, we know Disney hotels in Disney World aren’t always exactly cheap, but there are other options. There are hotels in Disney Springs that might save you some money (and even give you more amenities), and you still get all the same benefits you would get from staying at a Disney-owned hotel. One of those hotels is the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista, and we’re taking you on a tour of that hotel right now!
The Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista hotel is located within walking distance of Disney Springs, so you’ve already got great shopping and dining really close to you. Staying at this hotel also gets you Early Theme Park Entry, as well as free shuttles (reservations required with schedules available at check-in). to and from the parks. You’ll still get all the benefits of staying at one, plus you’ll still find some Disney touches throughout the property.

The hotel also has two swimming pools if you want to take a break from the parks and have some fun in the sun and time in the water. There’s even a hot tub if you need to soak your sore muscles at the end of a long park day.

Need to work out? You’ll find a fitness center with everything you need to work up a sweat.

You even have access to beach volleyball and basketball courts if you’re feeling like indulging in some sports time.

If playing video games is more your style, you can do that in the Good Game arcade, which has more than 30 games and interactive experiences.

Hungry? Lakeview Restaurant is convenient for breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere from 6:30 AM to 11 AM.

The buffet features everything you need for a filling breakfast, including Mickey waffles. The buffet is $27 for adults and $10 for kids.

Grab lunch, an early dinner, and something to drink at Oasis Restaurant, which is open from 9 AM to 9 PM. There’s also Eclipse Lounge, which is a great place for watching sports, drinking cocktails, and eating small plates from 5 PM to 12:30 AM.

You can also pick up snacks and drinks at the Sundial Cafe, which is open 24/7.

Need a caffeine boost? You’ll find a Joffrey’s with coffee and pastries at the hotel. It’s open from 7 AM to 11 PM.

When it comes to rooms, you have many choices, including rooms with two double beds, rooms with one king bed, and a queen bed accessible room. You can also choose several views, including a lake view or a courtyard view.

Rooms also have a closet, as well as some extra hooks to hang things on. You’ll also be provided an ice bucket.

Rooms also come equipped with a coffee maker with an assortment of coffees and teas to choose from.

Watch your favorite shows on the flatscreen TV. Underneath the TV are drawers and spaces where you can store your things.

Need to get some work done? There’s a dedicated desk and chair.

A room safe is available for storing your valuables.

The bathroom features a large vanity mirror, sink, and toilet. You also get plenty of towels and amenities like soaps and lotion, as well as extra toilet paper.

There’s a shower and a tub.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are in dispensers on the wall.

Inside the closet is an iron and an ironing board.

All rooms also include a mini fridge.

You’ll even find a comfortable place to sit by the window. In the king room, the sofa is also a sofa bed.

Now for the small print. Self-parking is $30 (valet parking is not available). There’s a resort fee of $36. However, the hotel is running a special spring rate right now through June 30th where you can book a room for just $99 per night.
