This Is The Disney Bathroom News We've Been Waiting For

If you’re a Disneyland fan, we have some BIG news for you! There have been some big things to celebrate at the original Disney park lately.

Bluey has made her new home in the park, and the Savannah Bananas even stopped by to have a fun-filled day. While that’s all big news, there’s been another change that’s more subtle, but in our opinion, the best news EVER!

There are many types of theme park news. There’s snack news, ride news, and entertainment news; it’s really endless! To us, some of the most important and underrated news is, you guessed it, BATHROOM NEWS!

Bathrooms are insanely important on any vacation, but especially a Disney vacation. You’re trying tons of new snacks, (hopefully) drinking lots of water, and you’re constantly on the move, so you need to know where the closest restrooms are. Well, Disneyland’s bathrooms are on the verge of getting even better thanks to one subtle change. Now, in select restrooms, there are signs so you can see which stalls are available to you!

If you’ve ever been in any Disney bathroom, you KNOW this is a big change. Those spots can get BUSY, and it can be hard to tell if there’s any availability. We have often been bent over searching for shoes to see if stalls are occupied while we are, frankly, desperate to use the bathroom.

They’re very subtle

The new signs are on each stall and detail if the spot is “vacant” or “occupied.” Sure, you might not think this is a game-changer, but when you’re desperate in the bathroom (which you will be at least ONCE on your trip), you will be so happy to see these signs. These signs haven’t made it to every restroom just yet, but we have spotted them in the:

- Main Street U.S.A. restrooms by Carnation Cafe
- Adventureland restrooms
- Frontierland restrooms
- New Orleans Square Restrooms
- and the Toontown restrooms

We are continuing to search around Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure to see if these signs will be added anywhere else.
