SNEAK PEEK at ‘Bluey’ Show Coming to Disneyland

It’s official – Bluey has moved into Disneyland, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

The brand new Bluey’s Best Day Ever! officially opens on March 22nd, but we were able to watch the show early and try some of the new Bluey snacks. What can you expect to experience at this new family-friendly event? We’re taking you through it ALL!

While there’s lots to experience at this new event, one of the biggest draws is the new Bluey’s Best Day Ever! show. This is located at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park, which has been totally transformed for this new experience.

There were two shows during this media event, and we were able to catch the second one. We’ll admit that we did feel it started off a tiny bit slow, but within a few minutes, it turned into a super fun, engaging show. The cast played iconic songs from the popular show, and engaged lots with the audience, which was lots of fun for fans of all ages in the audience.

However, as we were talking to Cast Members and other guests, we heard that, at least at this media event, there are supposedly TWO different versions of this show! It was mentioned that the one we saw was more “upbeat,” but we’ll return tomorrow for the official opening to hopefully catch the other show to see what it’s like.

There’s also LOTS of new Bluey merchandise coming to Disneyland beginning tomorrow! One of our personal favorites is the new Bluey Popcorn Bucket…

…and this Bluey Sipper will sell out quickly, if our suspicions are correct.

We got to try some of the new Bluey snacks for lunch! There are six new offerings available at Troubadour Tavern for this special event. While there are lots of solid choices, our ultimate favorite was the Pizza Girls Baked Potato, which is topped with pepperoni, sausage, bacon bits, marinara, mozzarella, alfredo sauce, and a parmesan herb topper. This truly was the star of the show! The sauce was tangy, the flavors combined beautifully, and that cheese pull? We won’t forget it any time soon.

Want something sweet? We recommend grabbing the Poffertjes! Poffertjes!, which are mini Dutch pancakes topped with buttered condensed milk and powdered sugar. Think fried dough, but not as crispy. These are perfectly sweet and fluffy while staying a light snack.

We also noticed that Disney updated the Family Adventure map in the park to include Bluey. This map helps families discover where some of the most family-friendly events and attractions are throughout the park.

We had so much fun seeing all of the new Bluey things at Disneyland, and we have a feeling people are really going to love this addition! At this time, there’s no specific end date for this event, so stay tuned to AllEars for more Disneyland news.
