The Super Bowl may end on the field, but the celebration always continues at Disney.

Every year after the big game, one of the most iconic traditions in sports kicks off: members of the winning team head straight to a Disney park for a championship victory parade. This year, Disneyland is getting ready to welcome football’s newest champions, the Seahawks, in true Disney style!
It’s become one of the most iconic sports-meets-Disney traditions out there: every year after the Super Bowl, the celebration doesn’t stop when the confetti falls. Instead, some of the winning team’s biggest stars pack up and head straight to Disney for a championship victory lap. The famous “I’m going to Disney!” moment has been a staple of Super Bowl history for decades, and it’s basically the official signal that the season is over and the party has officially moved to Main Street U.S.A.

In the days immediately following the big game, Disneyland (or Walt Disney World, depending on the year) hosts a special parade celebration where select players from the Super Bowl champs make an appearance, waving to park visitors, showing off that brand-new Lombardi Trophy glow, and soaking in the fanfare. It’s equal parts sports victory and Disney fun as a feel-good tradition that turns a football win into a full-blown park celebration, complete with cheering crowds, cameras rolling, and a little extra pixie dust!

This year’s Super Bowl game (Super Bowl LX) featured a classic NFL matchup between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on February 8th.

The Seahawks came out victorious, and numerous members of the team, including MVP Kenneth Walker III and Quarterback Sam Darnold, were spotted in the parade today celebrating their big win.We got to see the parade on Main Street, U.S.A., complete with the band, dancers, some of our favorite Disney characters, as well as, of course, the star players themselves.

After, we also got to see them set up for their interview on the stage set up on Main Street, which isn’t something you see every day!

We also got a chance to spot Mickey and Minnie in their adorable outfits — it’s not everyday you see them in this!

Stick around — there’s plenty more Disney fun to be had here! Be sure to check back in with us soon for the latest Disney news, updates, changes, and more.
