NEWS: The First-Ever LEGO Harry Potter Land Is Officially Happening

It’s certainly no secret that the various Wizarding World of Harry Potter locations around the world are wildly popular.

So, it will probably come as no surprise that a NEW Harry Potter land was recently announced — but this one will be different! That’s right, a new Harry Potter land is coming to Germany, and it will be the first Harry Potter LEGOLAND!

It’s official — a NEW Harry Potter land is in the works! LEGOLAND Deutschland (Germany) just announced that the world’s first LEGO Harry Potter land is in the making for this park! In addition to the world’s first LEGO Harry Potter land, it was also revealed that the first-ever Harry Potter themed accommodation is also in development.

While we don’t have many details so far, we do know that this will be “a magical fusion of creativity, wizardry, and play” as Hogwarts meets LEGO bricks in a LEGOLAND resort for the very first time.

LEGOLAND Deutschland is located near Günzburg, Bavaria, which is roughly an hour away from Munich at Stuttgart. The theme park includes lands like Pirate Land, Adventure Land, Kingdom of the Pharaohs, Little Asia, and more. The new Harry Potter land will be the first outside IP brought into the park.

It’s unclear whether or not the Harry Potter-themed accommodations will be a new hotel location, or if some of the current rooms will be renovated with the new theming. Based on the wording, we suspect it’s the latter, but we’ll let you know as soon as something is confirmed.
