You better watch out, you better not cry — Santa Claus is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Santa is making a stop at Animal Kingdom before his big night of delivering gifts all around the world. Only this stop is extra special, as this will be the last time Santa’s sleigh is parked at Dinoland U.S.A.
Hopefully you’ve been good, because the Santa Claus meet-and-greet is coming back to Restaurantosaurus at Dinoland. You’ll be able to meet the jolly old man November 14th through December 24th — before he heads out for the big night!

The Dino Institute will be fully transformed for the annual Dino Institute Holiday Party — with festive music, dazzling lights, stockings, and dinosaur decor. However, this will be the last time Dinoland will be decorated for the holidays, along with Santa’s last visit here.

Earlier this year, Disney announced that DINOSAUR, The Dino Institute Shop, Restaurantosaurus, and Restaurantosaurus Lounge will all be permanently closing on February 1st, 2026. That means this is the last Christmas at Dinoland!

We’re sure Santa will come back to Animal Kingdom, we just aren’t sure where he’ll be parking his sleigh once Dinoland is gone. Maybe he’ll stop in the Tropical Americas-themed land, Pueblo Esperanza. Or maybe it’ll be time for Santa to visit Pandora!

We’ll really have to make sure we take it in and enjoy it. Reminder that Santa arrives on November 14th, and we’ll make sure to see him a bunch. It’s going to be a bittersweet Christmas at Animal Kingdom this year!
