NEWS: Holiday Decorations Have Officially Arrived at Disney World

Oh, Animal Kingdom, who knew you would be the first to decorate for Christmas?

Imagine our surprise when we’re strolling through Animal Kingdom and BAM, the Merry Menagerie is lining some of the stores. As the first Disney World park to be decorated, let’s check out all the details.

Animal Kingdom might not be the first park you think of for Christmas, but let me introduce you to the Merry Mengarie. These puppets are all animal puppets and hang out on Discovery Island, and for me, it’s the sign that the holidays are here.

While our puppet friends aren’t out quite yet, their imagery is hanging above Island Mercantile and Riverside Depot!

We see our owl, fox, and squirrel friends on top of the buildings like they’re welcoming us into a winter wonderland (that is in Orlando, Florida, but hey, it’s 67° F as I write this, and that’s pretty dang cold).

Look at the owl flying on top! I think he’s one of my favorites. He’s ready to take flight and join in on the Merry Menagerie when they start their performances.
