If you’ve ever experienced the H-E-double-hockey-sticks that is Disney World during the summer months, you know just how important it is to stay cool. Okay, let’s be real, even when it’s NOT summer at Disney World, chances are you might still be sweating your booty off.

Luckily, there are still some ways you can beat the heat of the Florida sun while staying (relatively) comfortable. We’ve tested a TON of products — from cooling towels to fans — and we know which ones are worth your money. In fact, you can check out our ranking right here.
We love this portable bladeless neck fan from JISULIFE since it’s totally hands-free! We tested this one, and the battery lasted for a LONG time — we ran it for four hours straight and didn’t need to recharge it.

It’s relatively easy to slide on and off your neck, and we found that the airflow focused more on our neck and chin, which wasn’t our favorite, but it did help to keep us cool. The button was also a bit difficult to reach when it was on our neck, and it did suck up our reporter’s hair when she tested it, so this is definitely better for people with short hair.
These Sukeen Cooling Towels are perfect for tossing in your park bag, and they’re reusable!

All you need is a water bottle or a sink to get this cooling towel wet, wring it out, and wear it around your neck. While it does help keep us cool, it is one you have to continually get wet again so it can do its job. It also tends to get your clothing wet, which can be an uncomfortable feeling. We do love that you get multiple cooling towels in this set, which is great — and economical — for families.
It might look silly, but this Solar Fan Bucket Hat can be a total lifesaver! We know, we know, this thing is a little ridiculous looking — but it helps keep the sun out of your face and off your neck while also cooling you down with fans!

The fans are solar powered, but they can also be charged if you want to ensure that they’ll have enough juice to keep you cool throughout the day. While this hat wasn’t the most efficient — the fans were a bit weak — we did appreciate that it kept us cool when we weren’t in the direct sunlight. It’s hands-free, but the hat can be a bit clunky and heavy as well.
This Neck Cooling Tube is reusable and won’t leave you dripping wet!

Unlike the cooling towels, this cooling tube doesn’t drip water all over the place once you get it wet. We love how small and portable it is, but it only held its cool for about 40 minutes when we tested it out. Of course, you can get it wet again, but who wants to constantly be doing that at Disney World? We think this could be a great option when paired with a fan.
Okay, how adorable is this Mouse Misting Fan?! We love that it features both fanning and misting capabilities for those hot days when you just need to cool down.

It can be handheld or set up with a built-in stand for sitting on a table if you need to. This is great for kiddos since it features a guard around the fan blades, too. The misting capability is a little weak, and the water reservoir isn’t very large, but it’s easy to refill. The fan works really well, though, and we still can’t get over how cute this is!
This clip-on Waist Fan will keep you cool all day long, and it comes in a ton of colors! If you’re someone who often gets overheated around your back or waist, this is definitely worth tossing into your park bag.

It’s a little bit heavy and probably wouldn’t work too well with athletic shorts or bottoms that don’t have a rigid waistband, but being able to clip it to your belt and feel cool air blowing on your back is a total game-changer. Plus, it can be used as a handheld fan for your face or other areas as well.
But, our absolute FAVORITE theme park essential for staying cool at Disney World is the JISULIFE Handheld Mini Fan! This little fan packs a punch and has saved us on multiple occasions!

It’s rechargeable and features multiple different fan settings depending on what your needs are. It also folds up quite nicely and is compact — it’s a little bit larger than a tube of lipstick. In addition to the fan, it also has portable charging capabilities, so you can use it as a power bank for your phone, which definitely comes in handy around Disney World!
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
