A NEW Popcorn Bucket Is Coming to Disney World Next Month

Okay, admit it, we’re all obsessed with Disney World popcorn buckets, right? So many fun designs are always showing up, and we have to collect them all. Well, hold onto your hats because PEAK popcorn bucket season is coming up soon.

Yes, the holiday season starts in less than a month, and that means we’ll start seeing some of the best popcorn buckets of the year in Disney World.

Now, Disney hasn’t revealed too many details about what to expect from popcorn bucket drops this holiday season, but we will give you an idea of the kinds of popcorn buckets we usually see in the parks, starting in November. Let’s flash back to next year. One of our favorites from last year was the Santa Sulley Popcorn Bucket, and he’s got Mike Wazowski in his big bag of toys!

However, we kinda’ lost our minds over Mickey Elf Popcorn Bucket, too, because Mickey just looks too cute dressed up as an elf (this was a whole theme for holiday souvenirs last year).

One of our favorites over the past few years, though, is the gorgeous Musical Rotating Holiday Popcorn Bucket Tin that we spotted in 2023. This was more than a popcorn bucket…this was a super unique souvenir and is now part of our holiday decor every year.

However, the Mickey Toy Soldier popcorn bucket that was exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party also won over our hearts.

So we are waiting patiently for Disney to reveal some of the pocorn buckets we’ll be able to get this year (and the announcement could come any day now since we’ve already started getting a lot of details about the holiday season). While we’re waiting, though, we would love to give you some tips on how to collect these popcorn buckets for yourself.

You can usually find these specialty popcorn buckets at popcorn carts throughout Disney World, although some might be exclusive to a specific park (and we’ll keep you updated on that). You’ll want to visit those popcorn carts and keep an eye out for special buckets.

Other Popcorn Buckets We’ve Seen This Year

However, getting your hands on some of the more popular popcorn buckets might be tricky. If you’ve got a specific bucket in mind, you’ll want to rope drop and head to the popcorn carts ASAP. You might have to stand in line, but the earlier you can get there, the better. If one cart is out of that popcorn bucket, visit other popcorn carts because it may still be available at those. And if the bucket you want sells out, don’t worry…there’s a good chance it will be restocked and you may be able to grab one the next day. It’s all about persistence.

Of course, if you’re grabbing a popcorn bucket first thing in the morning, you’ll need to carry it around all day. At least most of the buckets come with a handy strap for that. If you don’t want to bother, though, you’ll find lockers you can rent at the front of each park. Just store your popcorn bucket in a locker, and be sure to remember to pick it back up when you’re leaving the park.
