Everyone, stay calm!

We are big fans of Disney+, Disney’s streaming service, thanks to its hours of movies, shows, and more! Not only does it give us all of those nostalgic feels, but it also gives us behind-the-scenes looks into our favorite content. Now, Disney+ is giving us a full documentary all about Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour!
Did you hear a loud scream this morning? Yeah, that was us! Our team has a big number of Swifites on it, and today’s Disney+ news has us all ridiculously excited. Taylor Swift confirmed that the Eras Tour Documentary will be available to stream on December 12th, 2025!

She shared the news over on Instagram, writing, “It was the end of an Era and we knew it.” (Yes, we got chills.) She shared that her entire team wanted to remember every moment leading up to the “most important and intense chapter of our lives.”

During the famous tour, Swift and her team broke records, including being the fastest and highest-grossing tour of all time. She shared that they allowed filmmakers to capture the tour as it wound down. She also confirmed they filmed the entire final show.

The Eras Tour | The Final Show and the first two episodes of The End of an Era will both debut on December 12th on the streaming platform. The End of an Era will be a 6-episode docuseries sharing behind-the-scenes details of the tour. You can see the trailer here!
This isn’t Swift’s first time working with Disney+! In March 2024, Swift debuted her Eras Tour film on the platform, which had a record-breaking 4.6 million views on Disney+ in three days. The Eras Tour movie notably doesn’t have the content from her album The Tortured Poets Department, but it will be included in the new material. According to Variety, the new docuseries will be “an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world,” which showcases her “performers, family members, and friends.”

Of the 6 episodes, the first two will begin streaming on the 12th, with two more episodes at a time over the course of the next two weeks. The tour ended in December 2023, and fans have speculated about a documentary since then due to the presence of cameras at the final show. Unlike the Eras Tour film, the docuseries and film will not be headed to the movie theaters.

We are seriously excited to sing our hearts out and dissect every moment of the new film and docuseries. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
