If there’s one thing we know about Disney fans, it’s that when changes are coming to the parks, everyone has opinions — and they are strong.

Whether it’s a brand-new ride, a reimagined land, or a long-awaited parade, Disney fans are always ready to debate what’s worth the hype. And with all the announcements Disney has made lately, from new attractions to big makeovers, there’s a lot to be excited about. So, we reached out to you to find out your thoughts on the matter, and wow, did you all have some opinions!
We reached out to our followers on Facebook and Instagram to ask: “What Upcoming Disney World Changes Are You Most Excited About?” We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments!

Now, let’s go over some of your top responses!
Zootopia, Encanto, Cars…oh my!
First up, we’ve got Paula, who shared the following:
“For our next scheduled trip in December…the Zootopia experience at AK, and the new nighttime parade at MK. Overall I’m excited about the Encanto stuff at AK. I’m intrigued to see what they do with Cars in Frontierland. I have a little boy who is obsessed with Cars.”
Paula hit so many of the big upcoming projects in one go. Animal Kingdom is clearly about to become the center of attention with not only the new Zootopia show, but also everything coming to the Tropical Americas (for her, specifically the Encanto experiences). Those additions are set to bring new life to a park that’s been relatively quiet since Pandora opened.

And also, we’re all still “intrigued” about the Piston Peak project coming to Frontierland. We’re all still waiting on how they’ll blend the rugged frontier vibe with that of the Cars universe, but we should take comfort know that at the end of the day, the Imagineers will knock it out of the park. Plus, with a little Lightning McQueen magic, you just know it’ll be a hit with families.
Cars Land at Disneyland was incredible.
Next, we’ve got Starla, who told us:
“We got to be at Disneyland for opening day for Carsland. Never enjoyed crowds of people so much. It was a blast. It’s a very fun land. So imagine the WDW one will be great too.”
Starla’s clearly speaking from experience — and she’s right. Cars Land at Disney California Adventure is a masterpiece of immersive design. From the glowing neon of Radiator Springs at night to the jaw-dropping rockwork around Radiator Springs Racers, it’s one of Disney’s most beloved modern lands.

If Disney World’s version captures even half of that magic, fans are in for something special. The theming potential here is massive — and Disney fans know it.
I’m just ready for all the walls to come down.
Then there’s Tina, who shared:
“I’m looking forward to all the green walls coming down and the new stuff being ready to go, that’s why we are saving for a trip in 2028, yes it’s a while off but Disney ain’t cheap.”
Tina gets it. We’ve all been navigating construction walls for what feels like forever with all of the construction projects over the years and the ones that have started around the parks recently. For years we have watched the transformations unfold piece by piece, and at this point, everyone’s more than ready to see the parks completely open again — no hard hats in sight.

And she’s not wrong about the planning part. Saving up for a Disney trip isn’t for the faint of heart, but by 2028, nearly all the new experiences will be up and running. That could make it the perfect time for that long-awaited “everything’s finally done” Disney trip.
Villains Land. People have been asking forever.
Moving on to Steve, who said:
“Villains Land. Not really my thing, but of everything going on, that’s the one people have been asking for. Like—forever.”
Steve’s not alone — Villains Land has been one of the most requested expansions among fans for years. Even people who don’t typically gravitate toward the darker side of Disney are curious to see what Imagineering could do with it.

The potential for attractions, meet-and-greets, and over-the-top nighttime effects is huge. Picture fire effects, eerie soundscapes, and rides inspired by characters like Hades and Maleficent. It’s the kind of bold, dramatic idea fans have been begging for — and it feels like Disney might finally be listening.
Love the Muppets!
Next up is Jim, who said:
“Rock n Rollercoaster! Love the muppets!”
And Daniel chimed in with:
“Monsters Inc Land and Muppets Rockin Rollercoaster.”
The Muppets resurgence is clearly striking a chord. Fans have been hoping for more Muppet representation in the parks for years, and now that a Muppet-themed overlay of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is coming soon, excitement levels are high.

The Muppets are chaotic, musical, and timeless — a perfect fit for a high-energy attraction. Combine that with the new Monsters, Inc. area (Monstropolis), and Hollywood Studios could be heading into a new era of fun, family-friendly chaos (the best kind).
I think Villains Land could be really great.
Then we’ve got Grant, who shared:
“I think Villains Land could be really great. But honestly, all of the attractions they have announced are very intriguing to me.”
Grant’s taking a more big-picture approach — and he’s totally right. Whether you’re excited about the darker themes, the colorful new IPs, or the refreshed classics, there’s a sense that Disney’s entering a creative revival. After a few quieter years, fans can feel the energy shifting again.

It’s nice to be excited about what’s next at Disney World instead of wondering when something new will finally show up.
AK for sure. Indiana Jones should be good.
Finally, Jason said:
“AK for sure. Indiana Jones should be good.”
Jason’s keeping it short and sweet — and we agree. The new Indiana Jones reimagining has serious potential. If it’s anything like the Disneyland version, it could become Animal Kingdom’s next big thrill ride. Pair that with Zootopia and Encanto, and it looks like the park’s next chapter is going to be packed with adventure.

Between Villains Land, Zootopia, Encanto, Cars, Muppets, Monsters, Inc., and Indiana Jones, it’s easy to see why fans are fired up. Disney’s clearly in a “let’s go big” phase again — and honestly, it feels like the start of something exciting.
