Southwest Airlines Has Flights as Low as $49 — But You Have To Act Fast

Southwest Airlines’ Wing it Sale is officially here, and you can get one-way flights for as low as $49. Let’s check out all the details before we start packing our bags.

If there’s any time for savings on flights, it’s now! From right now through October 9th, customers can book one-way fares as low as $49 for fall and winter travel from October 28th, 2025, to March 4th, 2026. Which means it’ll be covering all the busy dates — Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.

Here are some things to know:

• • Continental U.S. travel is valid, and continental U.S. travel to/from Hawaii, international, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, is valid October 28th through March 4th, 2026.
  • Interisland Hawaii travel is valid October 28th through December 17th, 2025. Continental U.S. travel blacked out 11/21-11/26, 11/29, 11/30, 12/19, 12/20, 12/26-12/29, 1/2-1/4, and 2/16.
  • Continental U.S. travel to Hawaii, international, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, blacked out 11/20-11/24, 12/18-1/6, and 2/12-2/15.
  • Continental U.S. travel from Hawaii, international, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, blacked out 11/28-12/2, 12/18-1/6, and 2/20-2/22.

• • Fares are valid on nonstop service where indicated; if not indicated, fares are valid on single connecting service. Displayed prices include all U.S. and international government taxes and fees.
  • Points bookings do not include taxes, fees, and other government/airport charges of at least $5.60 per one-way flight.
  • Seats, days, and markets are limited. Fares may vary by destination, flight, and day of the week, and won’t be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times and holiday periods.
