The NHC Is Monitoring a Disturbance – Could It Impact Your Disney World Vacation?

Could this disturbance impact your Disney World vacation? We have the details!

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently monitoring a tropical wave located in the far eastern Atlantic.  As of this morning, September 1st, the NHC has given the tropical wave a 40% chance of cyclone formation in the next seven days.

Currently, the tropical wave is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The current conditions appear conducive to a slow development of this system in the upcoming days. It is predicted to move westward to a west-northwest direction throughout this week, as shown on the map above.

Right now, it is too soon to determine if this disturbance will impact your Disney World vacation. As the disturbance continues to move and we progress further into the week, the National Hurricane Center is likely to provide more predictions on what to expect.
