I’m a Professional Disney Adult, and These Are the 5 Most Popular Questions People Ask Me in the Parks

We’re in Disney World pretty much every day for our jobs, and so we spend an extraordinary amount of time talking to strangers. (Sorry, Mom, I know you told me not to, but it’s part of the job!)

Who will win?

Whether we’re talking to random people who ask us for directions, guests who confuse us for Cast Members, or fans of AllEars who stopped to say “hi,” we carry on plenty of conversations. And today, we’re rounding up the list of the questions we get asked the most often!

Can You Take a Picture of Us?

Believe it or not, our team agreed that the NUMBER ONE question we get asked in the parks is “can you take a picture of us?” When you’re already walking around Disney World with your phone up taking dozens of pictures and videos, people tend to assume you’d be a good candidate to take their family portrait.

If we had a photo album of all the pictures we took for people in the parks, it would be thicker than Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (and that book is BEEFY). But we love it! It’s a fun way of making ourselves feel connected to the other guests in the park. And we love helping people out with their vacation!

Are You Quincy From AllEars?

Quincy specifically shared this one with me, but it really applies to anyone on the YouTube team, just fill in the name! When people approach our YouTube team in the parks, their first question is usually to confirm identity…which, honestly, is a pretty smart move.

Cause let’s be real, it might be awkward if you started a conversation with someone you thought worked on our team, only to find out they’re just a regular park goer. So, to those of you who do the identity check first, we applaud you for your logic!

Do You REALLY Go to the Parks Every Day?

We get asked this one a lot by our fans, and the answer is not really but also…sorta? If you’re asking any individual person, the answer is probably “no.” Each person on our team has days where they work from home so that no one gets too tired out — there’s a TON of walking in Disney World and the weather can be brutal, too.

But in general, we do have at least one person from our team in the parks every day of the year. There are some rare occasions where this doesn’t work out schedule-wise (usually on weekends, it’s a bit more challenging), but rest assured, someone from the AllEars team is in the parks Monday-Friday every week. We’re even there on major holidays like Christmas and New Year’s Eve!

Do You Work Here?

Another one that our reporters get asked pretty frequently is “do you work here?” Especially if we ever visit the parks wearing dresses, skirts, khakis, or nicer clothes, we get mistaken for Cast Members frequently.

The Emporium

In my personal experience, this happens most frequently in gift shops when other visitors are looking for something, like a specific piece of merchandise. I guess we just tend to look like we’re at home in a Disney World gift shop. We do spend a lot of time in them, after all.

What’s the Best Thing You’ve Eaten?

Finally, we have the question we get asked the most on festival days or at restaurant openings, basically any time when we’re eating a bunch of food at once. People always want to know what the best item on the menu is!

This is a really fun question to answer if we’ve already gotten to eat some food. If we’re still in the pre-eating photo-taking phase, it can be a little awkward. But when we’re midway through the meal or through the festival day, we typically love answering this one!

The AllEars Team

If you see us in the parks, don’t be shy! We love talking to our fans and hearing about your vacation…and we’re happy to answer a few questions.

  1. When you do a piece on a restaurant and the accompanying picture shows one of you at a table covered with several plates of food on the menu, do you actually eat all that food? 😁

    1. Hi James! Our reporters come prepared with tupperware so they can take leftover items home to enjoy later because there’s no way we can always finish everything, but we do take it with us!
