I Just Learned McPizza Bites Exist, and Now I Can't Stop Checking My McDonald's App

We’re big pizza fans here at AllEars. Whether it’s from somewhere in Disney World, a local stop, or literally anything in between, we love that classic pie.

Well, McDonald’s is adding its version of pizza back to the menu, and we have some thoughts.

You might be thinking, “Wait, I KNOW pizza is on the menu at McDonald’s,” and that is true if your go-to McDonald’s is in Orlando, Florida, at the biggest location in the world. This is the only location that serves McPizza!

According to The Street, McDonald’s is considering adding McPizza to the menus at locations in Italy. They call it a “cross between a pierogi, a pizza roll, a Hot Pocket, and a calzone.”

Why is this coming to Italy, the home of true, authentic pizza? Uh, we’re not quite sure! Many international McDonald’s locations offer specialty items, while also focusing on bringing American classics to their customers.

This version of McPizza will resemble a pizza roll, but will be slightly longer, similar to a Hot Pocket. These are fried with a crispy crust, so they can pop them into the fryers without needing new equipment like ovens.

Snackolator says, “They have a mix of pizza sauce and cheese inside a fried shell. What’s not to like?”

We had cake at McDonald’s too!
