Why Disney Adults Will Be Glued to Their Screens on April 12th

We are giving you a heads-up that you won’t want to plan anything for this Saturday, April 12th. If you already have plans, cancel them. It will be a big day, and we want you to be prepared!

Here’s a bit of a hint!

Why exactly are you canceling your plans on Saturday? Well, Disney on Broadway is premiering a special you don’t want to miss. (To be completely honest, you will also be able to watch it afterward, but we don’t want to feel left out by missing the premiere.)

The “30 Years of Disney on Broadway Concert Celebration — LIVE from EPCOT” will premiere on April 12th at 11 AM on the Disney on Broadway YouTube channel. We are already setting up our calendar reminders, clearing our plans, and planning snacks for the occasion.

The Disney on Broadway concert was taped during the Disney on Broadway Concert Series at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, so while it won’t be streaming live, it will be an actual performance from EPCOT. Maybe you will even spot yourself in the audience if you were there!

This show features ALADDIN’s current Genie Michael James Scott, Kara Lindsay (Newsies), Rodney Ingram (Aladdin), Kissy Simmons (The Lion King), and Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast) performing select songs from the Disney on Broadway musical catalog. Whether you could catch numerous Disney on Broadway performances during the Festival of the Arts or haven’t seen one yet, it is sure to be a fantastic time.
