NEWS: COLD Weather Is Hitting Disney World, and You Need To Plan Accordingly!

Winter in Disney World often isn’t too intense, especially if you’re from a northern state and you’re used to chilly weather.

However, many Florida residents (or those visiting from warmer locations) will be taken by surprise this upcoming week when majorly cold temperatures hit Orlando. It’s time to pack your jackets and layer up!

Starting January 7th, temperatures in Disney World will drop significantly. The lows each day will be in the high 30s, with high temperatures only hitting the high 50s!

It doesn’t often get this cold in Disney World, so even locals or frequent visitors will likely be taken by surprise. Thankfully, there will be lots of sun, which will keep things a little warmer, but you’ll really need to prepare yourself if you’re heading to the parks this week.

How should you prepare, you may ask? The name of the game here is layering. Yes, bringing a heavy coat may seem obvious, but since we’re also heading into a runDisney weekend, layering will be an essential tool for keeping yourself warm.
