Can you believe we’re only two(-ish) months away from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening in Disneyland? We can’t wait!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open on November 15th in the West Coast park. While the Disney World version of the ride opened in June, we’re not surprised to see the months-long difference in opening dates since Disneyland’s Splash Mountain (now Tiana’s Bayou Adventure — same ride vehicle and system, different theme!) didn’t close until May 31st, 2023, while Disney World’s closed on January 23rd, 2023. Looking at the construction, though, it certainly looks like things are almost there (sorry, we had to)!
We stopped by the park recently and saw some pretty big leaps in construction! For one, the greenery around the ride is looking wonderful.

When we stopped by, we could see construction workers actively working on the ride — so exciting! We can still see some green scrim up, but for the most part, it seems a lot of that scaffolding we saw a few months ago has come down.

We also noticed that the speakers in the queue are up, which is an incredible way to immerse guests in the story before they even get to the ride!

We were REALLY excited to see that the entrance signs for the queue are also up! That includes the main entrance sign…

…and the wait times signs. Disney hasn’t stated if we’ll see a Virtual Queue for this attraction, so stay tuned for more details. We’ll have to wait and see for sure—we just have a little longer to wait!

We also got a glimpse of the actual sign for the ride! It looks just like it does in Disney World from what we can see so far, and we’re looking forward to seeing it unveiled in the future.

We can’t wait to see more as the attraction continues on its way to opening, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated!
