Why Fans of Disney's Soarin' Might Want to Visit SeaWorld Orlando in 2025

An exciting new ride is coming to SeaWorld Orlando!

There are tons of theme parks around the Orlando area. And even though Disney World and Universal Orlando often get most of the hype, there are plenty of exciting attractions and entertainment to enjoy at the other parks around town. In fact, SeaWorld Orlando recently announced a new attraction that we can’t wait to see for ourselves!

This week, SeaWorld Orlando announced plans for a new attraction scheduled to open in Spring 2025! The new ride is described as a “one-of-a-kind immersive flight theater [that] will take riders on a dynamic adventure through the Arctic.”

On the new attraction, riders will “soar over icy landscapes, dive beneath frozen waters, and come face-to-face with some of the planet’s most magnificent creatures. From majestic beluga whales to awe-inspiring orcas and walruses, this adventure puts riders right in the middle of the action. It’s also all indoors, so rain or shine, this attraction guarantees a cool, thrilling escape for the entire family all year round.”

Based on the description of the ride, it sounds like it might be similar to Soarin’ Around the World in Disney World’s EPCOT, but with a focus on nature and wildlife around the Arctic.

The new ride will be family-friendly, with a minimum height requirement of 39 inches. The total ride time is 4:30 and will occur in one of two of the attraction’s immersive multi-level theaters, each accommodating 30 guests.
