It’s almost time for the biggest Disney fan event of the year!
D23: The Ultimate Fan Event is taking place from August 9th through 11th in Anaheim, California. The sold-out event includes a TON of special offerings like special panels, showcases, and exhibitions. The panels are especially popular, which means that you’ll need to register for them ahead of time, and we’re going to tell you how to do that.
You can sign up for the D23: The Ultimate Fan Event Reservation Random Selection Process from July 15th through July 19th. According to The Orange County Register, those with a ticket to the event can join an online queue during that time, where they will be assigned a random place in line. Note that you will also need your D23 Member account tied to your fan event badge to sign into the reservation system.
Then you’ll choose the event, panel, presentation, and experiences you’d like to register for for each of the three dates. You’ll be able to make reservations for Stage Presentations, Talent Central, and Show Floor Experiences. You can make up to four choices in each category (and rank them according to your priorities). This means that you’ll have better luck landing a reservation the more you make. You can bring up to seven guests to each event.
Reservations are given at random, so it doesn’t matter when you register. You’ll have until July 19th to finalize your selections and you can change them as often as you want. Emails will go out to D23: The Ultimate Fan Event attendees with their confirmed panels on August 2nd through 5th. Standby queues will also be available if you miss out on a reservation.
The three biggest presentations, which will cover Disney Legends, Experiences, and Entertainment will take place in the evenings at the nearby Honda Center. Seating for those events depends on the type of ticket you bought.
