Disney Drops NEW Trailer for 'Captain America: Brave New World'

It’s a great time to be a Marvel fan.

Why’s that, you might ask? Well, we’ve got a lot of exciting Marvel projects releasing this year. First up, the highly-anticipated Deadpool and Wolverine lands in theaters on July 26th. Then the WandaVision spin-off series, Agatha All Along, premieres on Disney+ on September 18th. Now, we’ve got a brand- new trailer for Captain America: Brave New World.

Captain America: Brave New World picks up after the events of The Falcon and Winter Soldier after Sam Wilson has picked up the infamous vibranium shield passed down to him by Steve Rogers, making him the new Captain America. The film stars Anthony Mackie, who is reprising his role, as well as some newcomers to the Marvel universe, including Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross and Giancarlo Esposito. Liv Tyler will also reprise her role as Betty Ross. Check out the first trailer below!

If you watch through until the end, you’ll see a character that was teased (or maybe even spoiled) by the McDonald’s Captain America: Brave New World Happy Meal toys, Red Hulk. In Marvel Comics, Red Hulk is the alter ego of Thaddeus Ross, Ford’s character. Ford took on the role after the previous actor who originally portrayed Ross, William Hurt, passed away. It seems that the rumors about Red Hulk appearing in the movie are true.

Captain America: Brave New World was one of the Marvel films that ended up running into delays due to the entertainment strikes in 2023. Check out the official poster below, which also teases Red Hulk’s appearance in the film:
