It’s no secret that we love Disney merchandise. In fact, it’s probably obvious that we love it a little too much.

But how can we help it? Disney is always coming out with such incredible, adorable merchandise that our wallets can’t resist. However, we are also the first to admit that there are some souvenirs out there that are just a little too cringey. Now, this is going to be different for everyone, because one person may love a souvenir while their best friend hates it, but these are five cringey Disney souvenirs that we still can’t help but buy.
Before we get started, we’d like to preface that these souvenirs may not be cringey to everyone! If you love these souvenirs, we’re right there with you! However, if you don’t think that they’re cringy, please don’t take this as us poking fun at you for loving this merchandise.

Now, don’t get us wrong — pins themselves are not cringey in any way, shape, or form. However, things change a little bit when you’re spending over $15 on a pin, such as the D23-Exclusive Hollywood Tower Hotel 30th Anniversary Flipping Pin.

Trust us, we have giant pin collections ourselves, but spending tons of money on singular pins, when you could be getting multiple cheaper pins for the same price? That’s where things get a little wild, and we ourselves look at some of our more expensive pins and cringe every time.
One of my coworkers shared that she finds Matching Disney Shirts to be incredibly cringey… and yet she has a matching Disney shirt with her husband.

Matching shirts can be super cute, especially for larger groups going on vacation together. But let’s be honest — you’re really only going to wear those matching shirts in the parks, and then it’s going to sit unused in your closet for many years. if that’s what you’re looking for, then there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, but we have many members of our team who have fell victim to matching shirts, and then regretted it later on.
But if you love them, check these out!
This next one may surprise you, but when we explain it, it’ll make sense. A lot of my coworkers said that they think Spirit Jerseys are pretty cringey.

This is only because for those on the team that live in Florida, there are very few times during the year where it’s cold enough to wear a spirit jersey. 9 to 10 months out of the year? That spirit jersey is sitting in your closet, never seeing the light of day. Now, does that dissuade us from buying it? No, of course, not, which is why it’s on this list.
We talk about how important it is to stay hydrated in Disney World all the time… but that doesn’t make it any less cringy when we keep buying way more Disney Water Bottles than we could ever need.

Will we ever be able to use all of these different water bottles in the park? Maybe, but it might take a few weeks, which is kind of embarrassing to admit. The truth is, you really only need one or two quality water bottles to bring with you into the parks, and we totally understand that they’re all so cute and so, so tempting, but your cabinets will thank you when they’re not filled to the brim with water bottles that you never use.
This last one is pretty specific, but we think a lot of you will agree with us. Certain Disney merchandise with Disney characters on it can really only be worn in the parks, which means on any other day it sits in your closet. This is especially the case with Disney Character Bucket Hats.

Again, we’re not judging you at all if this is the type of merchandise you adore. You spend your money on whatever you feel like, but for us, every time we buy one of these, we love it in the parks, and then we regret it when we get back home. Because we going to go out to the grocery store wearing this hat? Most likely not.
