NEWS! See INSIDE Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for the FIRST TIME — Animatronics, New Songs, and MORE!

Y’all ready to head inside Disney World’s newest ride for the FIRST TIME EVER?! Me, too!!!! Let’s gooooo!

Walt Disney Imagineering has a new YouTube series called “We Call It Imagineering,” and their second episode is all about music!

SPOILER ALERT: We are about to share Disney’s first look inside the new ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. You’ve been warned!

Of course, we all know that the music of Disney can evoke emotions, make us nostalgic, remind us of loved ones and shared memories, and even make us laugh hysterically. And in this new YouTube episode, the Imagineers are taking us inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for the first time with PJ Morton — the composer of Tiana’s new song in the ride: Special Spice!

Now we’ve seen the Tiana animatronic in person before, but it’s so cool to see it in the context of the ride. Here she is on the uphill part before one of the smaller drops!

Once you head inside, it’s FULL of greenery to set the scene of the bayou.

There’s also a sneak peek at some of the lighting effects in the ride. It’ll be interesting to see where these line up with the story!

It’s so great to watch someone take their first journey on a brand new ride, especially one they had such a big part in creating. But I’ll be honest — the best part of this episode for me was seeing some sneak peeks at the animatronics, the new decor throughout the attraction, and…well…wait until you see that super trippy rush into the mushroom room!

Of course, we also get to see that incredible grand finale room, where Tiana and Naveen are inviting us to a Mardi Gras party with all their friends!

Honestly, it looks like quite a bit has changed from the original Splash Mountain ride (which I know a lot of folks were asking about whether it would) — especially that mushroom room in the Bayou!
