? NEW Restaurants Are NOW OPEN at Downtown Disney ?

Disneyland has seen some major changes this year, and they’re just going to keep coming!

Downtown Disney has been a bit of a construction zone with restaurants closing, new ones coming, stores being relocated, and more. This isn’t even counting Disneyland’s planned $1.9 billion expansion which continues to take steps forward! We’ve been anxiously awaiting the opening of three upcoming restaurants and now the time has come…well sorta!

We’ve been checking out Pixar Fest which just kicked off in the parks, but for this news, we’re headed to visit Downtown Disney. According to one of the restaurant’s websites, there is an opening to celebrate!

First, we checked Centrico — an outdoor courtyard bar that Disney describes as an “energetic, central gathering place serving upscale Mexican cuisine and tequila-based cocktails.” On their website, there’s a pop-up that says “We’re Now Open!”

We recently got a sneak peek passing by the construction, but now you can stop by to grab a bite or a drink!

We also noticed that the new restaurant called Paseo had the opening notice on its website as well. However, we stopped by and an employee said the restaurant was not open yet. It’s unclear if the restaurant just wasn’t open for the day yet (the website notes that the hours are 4PM-10PM PT) or if it’s actually not open at ALL yet. We’ll keep an eye on it!

This spot is unique as it mixes Mexican dishes with“French culinary style and technique.”

The third restaurant we’ve been waiting on is Tiendita! Here you’ll find more traditional Mexican street foods. Visitors using self-order kiosks will be able to grab a variety of staples including “esquites (roasted corn), fish tacos, ice cream- stuffed chocolate tacos, and breakfast favorites. When we passed by, it looked like they finished a trial day. We asked and an employee said that Monday would be for friends and family, so we’ll have to keep waiting for an official opening date.
