FIRST LOOK at Drinks Coming to Disney’s NEW Private Island Destination

It’s almost time to set sail on Disney Cruise Line to their newest island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and we can hardly wait!

We’ve already gotten a first look at what the characters will be wearing, learned about the excursions that will be available on the island, and even speculated on a few details from several of the concept art that Disney previously released about Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Now, we’re learning even more about what delicious beverages can be found when you arrive!

It’s hard to believe that in just a few short months, Disney Cruise Line’s newest tropical destination Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will finally be open to guests sailing about Disney Cruise Line ships.

We’re getting even more excited to learn more details about what will await us on the island and recently had an opportunity to try out a few beverages that will be found at the destination’s restaurants.

First up, we got to try the Lighthouse Point Specialty Coffee, made with Monin Hawaiian Island, Illy Cold Brew, Monin Coconut Syrup, and Rich’s On Top soft Whip Topping. This is a light-roasted coffee with a ton of whipped cream on top. There’s also a fruity undertone, though, thanks to the Hawaiian Island and Coconut Syrup. It’s certainly a unique coffee drink, but still pretty tasty.

We also had a chance to try the Eleuthera Euphoria (say that three times really fast) made with Aged rum with pineapple and Dole whip and topped with a pineapple gummy. This one tasted like a Dole Whip pina colada — we have no complaints.

There will also be a non-alcoholic specialty beverage at Lookout Cay. It’s made with Simply Lemonade, Butterfly Jasmine Tea, and sprinkle Blue Electridust. This is pretty and fun lemonade. You don’t taste the jasmine tea at first, but it comes in a little later. We found it very refreshing.
