The holiday season is upon us, and that means decorations are everywhere, holiday parties have begun, and we’re about to jump into one of the most beloved (and busy) times of the year.

Did you know that one company will actually pay you to watch Christmas movies? There’s a time limit, though — here’s how you could earn $2,500 just by sitting on your couch.
CableTV.com is offering one lucky person the position of Chief of Cheer — the job description states that the person must watch 25 Christmas movies in 25 days.

Not only will the Chief of Cheer be watching the films, but they’ll also need to rate them on nostalgia, heartwarming storytelling, and holiday cheer.

From there, you will rank seven streaming services based on factors like content library and ease of use. Oh, and since “Holiday movies” is such a broad genre, you have plenty of options!

The position pays $2,500 and includes yearly subscriptions to multiple streaming services, including:
- Netflix
- Hulu
- Disney+
- Amazon Prime
- Max
- Apple TV+
- Hallmark Movies Now

According to the official rules, to apply, you must be a United States resident and at least 18 years old or older. Applications are open NOW, and they’ll close on December 1st, 2023, at 11:59PM MT. Then, the winner will be selected and contacted by December 5th, 2023. Best of luck to anyone applying!
