Sneak Peek at Medals for runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend!

Sure, you spend all day “running” around the Disney World parks from ride to restaurant to show.

But you can actually run in a real race in Disney World and the Springtime Surprise Weekend is quickly sneaking up on us. We found out that the theme for the 2023 races is Pixar and now we got a sneak peek at the medals!

For anyone participating in the 5K, you’ll get this Cars-themed medal at the finish line! Lightning McQueen is featured in the center on this one.

There is also a Disney Pixar Monsters 10K — if you finish that race, expect to see this fun Monsters Inc.-inspired medal! It’s interactive with a door that actually opens.

The 10 miler has a Toy Story theme and the medal is no exception! It features Woody, Buzz, and the aliens from the iconic movies.

And if you are determined to do all three of those races (the 5K, 10K, AND the 10 miler), you’ll get the Springtime Surprise Challenge Medal that features Finding Nemo!

The races take place from April 13th-16th at Disney World and although several are already sold out, you can still sign up for the runDisney Springtime Surprise Yoga, the Disney Pixar Toy Story 10 Miler, and the virtual races.
