We’re constantly keeping our eye on the future, as there’s so much to look forward to!

In order to do so, we’ve been tracking progress on the Moana attraction in EPCOT, as well as the reopening of the Disney World Railroad in Magic Kingdom and Fantasmic! in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And, over in Universal Studios, we’re keeping our eye on their newest addition — Epic Universe!
Set to open in 2025, Universal’s Epic Universe theme park will feature a theme park, its own shopping and dining district, and hotels. And the Twitter account, @bioreconstruct, has been providing us with aerial updates from the new park’s construction site. They recently posted an aerial view of the deepest area of excavation — take a look:
Aerial Jul 22 with details in perhaps the deepest Epic Universe excavation. Near park center.
1 Walls placed rather than cast in place
2 Concrete prep in a new level
3 Deeper squares
4 Fabric layer
5 Rectangles in even arrangement on perimeter. pic.twitter.com/JOvxkcgTNM— bioreconstruct (@bioreconstruct) July 23, 2022
The area with a “1” shows where walls have been placed. The spot with a “2” shows concrete prep on a new level. The locations with a “3” show deeper squares. The spot with a “4” is a fabric layer. And the places with a “5” are rectangles that are placed in an even arrangement around the perimeter.

In another post, you can see the beginning of some restaurants and roller coasters.

Recently, some more progress was also made on the Ministry of Magic building. Take a look:

Bottom left is studs on the frame, for external wall board of the show building.
