“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” Is Taking Over an Iconic Disneyland Attraction

Disney’s Encanto has quickly become an incredibly popular movie, in large part due to the catchy music that makes up the film’s soundtrack. Now, some of that music has inspired a new projections show in Disneyland.

We’ve already seen the hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” take over the billboard charts, but now it’s going to take over a popular Disneyland attraction as well!

Disneyland announced that there’s going to be a new, limited-time projections show on the façade of their “it’s a small world” ride that honors “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” The show will feature a montage of music and Encanto characters, culminating in a scene that nods to “Bruno’s mysterious prophecy about Mirabel.”

Guests will also get to see visual elements that pay tribute to the movie, including lighting effects that make it look like the tiles of “it’s a small world” are moving, just like in the Madrigal family’s Casita.

This short show is debuting in Disneyland Resort on April 11th (in just a few days!), but it’ll only be around for a limited time. According to the Disney website, the show will run several times per night from 9:00PM to 11:45PM.

And while you’re in Disneyland, make sure to stop by the Zocalo Park in Frontierland to say hello to Mirabel! She’ll be hanging out in “a colorful photo location that pays homage to the Madrigal family from Colombia.”

When the Main Street Electrical Parade returns on April 22nd, 2022, guests can also see the Encanto-inspired float that will debut as a new addition to this parade. It features Mirabel and Antonio as well as some classic elements of the story like butterflies and the Miracle Candle.
